My classes had finished and I had completed all my duties as an engineering moon alongside Forth, but time seemed to pass much slower than normal. I had found out I had scored a hundred percent on my latest test and the teacher, Professor Lek (Small in Thai; removed accents) looked surprised at my lack of excitement. I felt sorry for him, he started getting worried saying that I didn't look happy at all. He was ready to send me to the infirmary, but I gave him a smile saying that I had fallen out with someone.

"Make out quickl- no, no sorry, that's a very big mistake I made just now. My apologies, I mean make up, but then again. Anyway, good score! Keep it up!" He patted my head and sent me back to my desk, I chuckled at his mistake. He was a good teacher really, quite young and he struck me as the nervous and cute type of person. Although after some girls had been doing a love quiz, there was a rumour he was dating a younger teacher, not that anyone knew who they were. I was curious, but I liked my professor and wasn't bothered to put any more thought into it.

I had finished all my formal duties, but earlier after my last class, Professor Lek, asked me to return some equipment to the lab and return and tell him when I had finished. So currently, I was carrying the last box of unused light bulbs that needed to returned to the laboratory supply cupboard. I placed the box neatly into the cupboard, looking out the window to my right, seeing a sky of dark blue, dotted with the light of the college lamps.

I returned to the class, but I thought twice about knocking as when I peaked through the window pane of the door, peering inside the the classroom. What I saw, I definitely had not expected to see at the late hour. Professor Lek's small frame was being pinned to the desk by Mr Yen (Cool in Thai; removed accents). Mr Yen was our laboratory teacher, often regarded as young and handsome by many of the girls, he was one of the youngest teachers on campus and he taught us the practical skills in engineering and it finally made sense as to why Mr Yen had not been present in the laboratory when I had been restocking the cupboard. Out of curiosity I kept watching and Mr Yen, who was currently pinning Professor Lek on his own desk, he leaned in and stole the lips of the slightly older man. Professor Lek seemed to protest against it at first, but complied quite quickly, returning the kiss.

I took my leave, writing a note saying that I had finished and signed my name and I placed this in the door jam.

I walked out of the building and saw a small figure, sleeping against a lamp post outside. I walked up to them and crouched down, wondering who would be sleeping out here in the cold. Kit? Why would he be here?

I was confused, but I placed my jacket around his shoulders, carefully putting his arms into the sleeves. I tapped him on the shoulder several times, but he only reacted by shaking his head. I shook his shoulders and he awoke, after all no one could leave a person sleeping out here in the cold.

"Ming? Is that you?" He said with a tired tone, a strange warmth of familiarity passed through me when I heard his voice.

"I'm sorry, you cannot sleep here, you will catch a cold. As a college moon, I can escort you back to your dorm or back to your college", I offered formally, I didn't want to do anything that might make him hate me.

"I don't need any of that", he replied in a strangely desperate tone.

"I trust that you can see yourself home then", I got up, bowed and started walking off.

"Wait", I heard him call out, but I carried on walking, until two arms wrapped around my torso. I wasn't sure how to react in the second, so I stopped and stayed still waiting for something to happen.

"Ming, help me! I can't get you out of my head. It's maddening and I'm so confused about my feelings for you. I thought I had none, but my heart, my head and everyone around me tell me otherwise. You're always everywhere and I found it annoying, but when you weren't there my heart felt empty, there was something missing that I couldn't replace. When I saw your tears, I couldn't forgive myself for doing that to you. I didn't even want to say that, I don't know where that came from. I meant to say that I didn't know why you'd ever like me. You're handsome, kind and any girl would willingly date you, even if they had a boyfriend. So why would you ever say you'd love me", I suddenly felt a wet patch forming on the back of my shirt and the grasp on my torso tightened. He was crying and his breath had become ragged, but he continued to stumble out his words, "I'm annoying, clingy and I get jealous very easily, I'm not handsome or cute and I have a bad personality".

The words that really hit me and went straight to my heart were, "I don't want some college moon, I want my Ming Kwan". I turned to face him, keeping his arms around me and lifting his tear stained face to face mine. I leaned down and captured his lips to stop him from talking. At first it was a gentle kiss, but when he started returning the kiss, I licked his bottom lip and he denied me access, but I traced my hand down his spine and he gasped suddenly and I took this as an opportunity and explored his mouth. He slowly got used to it and reciprocated the kiss, his arms reaching up and wrapping around my neck.

"Save it for the bedroom kids", Mr Yen's voice interrupted. We both jumped back and I glanced at Kit, he was glowing red, which was visible even in this darkness. "I was joking, don't worry, I won't tell", he tapped his nose.

Suddenly Professor Lek walked out the building and looked surprised to see all of us.

"Mr Yen, you're still here? What is happening?" Professor Lek walked down the stair and joined Mr Yen.

"No need for formalities, also I caught these two making out", he replied, slinging his arm around the older man's shoulder.

"Oh so you took my accidental advice then, that's unexpected. We will make our way home now- I mean take our leave to our own homes now", Professor Lek accidentally suggested that they were living together. Mr Yen took the Professor's hand, while bidding us a goodbye.

He passed by me and whispered, "use protection", he winked and dragged Professor Lek away by the hand.
