Chapter 6: Memories

I stared at my scrapbook. I sighed. I promised myself I would never look in this again but ever since that thing with Karla I just have this feeling. "Kazar...you ready to do this?" I asked him, mostly myself. Kazar answered, "As ready as you are." I slowly opened the book to see a baby picture of me and Asriel. I looked underneath it to see Asriel posing in his little prince outfit. I smiled as I remembered exactly how that went down. "Asriel can I take a picture this time?" My four year old self asked my big brother. Asriel smiled and handed it to me. "Of course!" He posed and then mumbled, "Get my good side." CLICK! I giggled as I looked at the other page. It showed me, Asriel, Chara, MK, and Blooky hanging out with the skelebros Sans and Papyrus. I giggled as I remembered that memory. "I, the Great Papyrus, will join in this so called fun!" Papyrus exclaimed. "Be careful, it'll CHILL you out bro." Sans joked. We all started laughing as Papyrus cringed at his older brother's stupid joke. I turned the page and my eyes paused at the picture of me holding a Pokémon. That's when I met Charmander after I was somehow brought out of the Underground. "Hello? Is anyone there?" My eight and a half self asked wondering in the woods all alone. SNAP! I jumped and a pokémon jumped out of a bush. "Charmander." It said. I smiled and walked towards it. "Can I pet you?" I asked. The pokémon smiled and put it's nose on my hand. "Charmander!" It said and I smiled even more. I put my hand on it's head and started petting it. "So your name is Charmander isn't it?" I asked and it nodded. "You're mine now." I giggled and caught it with my pokéball, but as fast as it was caught it was back out and in my arms. I slowly looked at the next picture to see me and Charmander wearing little dinosaur outfits. (Look at the picture above) That's after I did my first ever spell and turned Charmander into a human. "Don't I look cute James?" I asked him. James looked at me and smiled. "Of course you do you silly dinosaur." He joked. I blushed and started giggling. "Well you look cute too!" I said and hugged James. "Kat, you know I don't like hugs." He compained but I didn't stop. He warmed up to the hug and embraced me into a hug back. I looked at the other page to see me and Tapanga with Charmander photobombing us. "JAMES!" We both yelled because that's what we called him until we were ten. James smirked. "What? Geez...girls are such babies." He said. I looked at Tapanga and she looked at me. We both smacked the back of his head and he yelped and tumbled onto the ground. We both giggled as he whispered, "I deserve that..." I turned the page to see Nick, Charmander, Napstablook, and Flowey. This was after I was reunited with Napstablook and we found Flowey. "So...you're Asriel?" Nick asked. Flowey nodded then stopped. "WAIT NO! I'M FLOWEY!" He said. Nick gave Flowey a blank look. "Now you are, but before you were Asriel." Nick said. Napstablook slowly nodded not wanting to speak up since he's shy. Charmander smirked. "Both those names sound stupid as fuck." He said making Flowey attack him. Nick and Napstablook just stood there staring with wide eyes. I slightly smiled and turned the page to see me, Danny, and Sally. My eyes widened. That was when those two got along...and before they both left. "Smile!" Sally yelled at Danny. Danny forced a smile and I knew it was fake. "Danny...you okay?" Twelve year old me asked him. He looked at me and gave me a small real smile. "Yeah...I'm fine." He told me. Sally crossed her arms. "Kat he's lying!" She said and shoved him. Danny narrowed his eyes. I hated to see my blood brother and blood sister fight. "Oh shut up Sally!" He yelled at her and slapped her. I covered my mouth. "GUYS!" I tried stopping them but I only got shoved onto the ground. Karla appeared and put her hands on both their heads. "Kat...look what I have." She smirked as Sally and Danny squirmed. I rushed towards them but Karla kicked me back and I watched in horror as they all disappeared. "DANNY! SALLY!" I screamed. My eyes watered as I looked at one last photo. It showed me, Danny, Jillian, and Tapanga. That was my last picture with Danny...alive. I shut my eyes as I remembered what happened the day I found out. "Kat...there's something I have to tell you..." Jillian said. "Hmmm?" I looked over to Jillian and gave her a silly smile. "What's up girl?" I asked her. Jillian gave me a serious look making my smile fade. Jillian whispered, "Danny was found dead in the woods...I'm so sorry Kat." I dropped my bag of gummy bears and gave her a look of disbelieve. "NO HE'S FINE!" I yelled and tears streamed down my face. "No...no...DANNY NO!" I cried. I opened my eyes and turned the page where Monster Kid drew on. I remember when him and Blooky gave me this. "Yo Kat! I'm sorry I missed your sixth birthday." Monster Kid said running towards me. I looked over at him. "Mk it's fine." I told him with a smile. Monster Kid smiled back and then a scrapbook dropped down in front of me. "Huh?" I asked looking up to see my ghost friend Blooky, that's before he had his robot body, giving me a small smile which he rarely did. I smiled at them both and pulled them both into a tight hug. "Thanks guys, you're the best." I said. I let go of them. "Wanna sign it guys?" I asked. Monster Kid nodded. "Of course dude!" I put a crayon in his mouth and he at least tried to write his name. Blooky asked, "Can you sign it for me too?" Monster Kid nodded and wrote on it some more. It didn't look like much but I loved it. We all sat down together and started talking about Undyne and Blooky's snail farm. I put my hand on the page and a tear dropped down on it. When me and Blooky were reunited with Mk, I turned Mk into a human and Blooky finally got a robot body for himself. But we went back to the Barrier, aka what was left of it, and Mk saw the scrapbook. He picked it up but since he wasn't use to hands he droped it and went to pick it up but a truck hit him. Me and Blooky watched him turn to dust right in front of us. I cried and picked up the scrapbook. Now all I have is Blooky and Flowey from my childhood from the Underground. I let my tears land on the pages and was about to turn the page again when a hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to see Flowey and right behind him was Blooky. I burst into tears and wrapped my arms around my brother. I reached out and pulled Blooky into our hug too. This was our moment...these were our memories.
