Chapter 8: Betrayal Part-1

Falling....I'm falling...I don't know how it came down to this. But I'm falling out of the sky and to my death. How did this all happen you ask? It all started this morning. (Earlier this morning) "Kat! Katherine!" I woke up to see Pip's beaming face staring down at me. Any other person would of screamed, but I just smiled and sat up. "Who let you in?" I asked him with my stupid smile. Pip crossed his eyes and put his finger on his chin as if he was thinking. "Hmmmm...me!" He joked and threw his arms into the air. I giggled. Ever since I turned him into a human yesterday he's been super adorable. He's such a goofball. I giggled at him and the door opened making us both look at Charmander. He walked in with his hands in his pockets and a serious face. Seeing as Char is a dork it surprised me that he was serious for once. Mew was lying in his bed being the lazy cat pokèmon he is until Charmander punched the wall making the whole house shake. Mew fell off his bed and he groaned. "Charmander are you ok?" He asked. Charmander didn't answer. He just grunted and sat down on his bed with his arms crossed. I stood up and walked towards the orange haired boy. "Char...you okay?" I asked him and put my hand on his head. Charmander didn't look up until I patted his head. "Pat pat. This is the feel better pat." I said and smiled at him. Charmander stared at me and then gave me a small smile. "There's meh Char." I giggled and playfully punched his arm. Charmander laughed and flipped me onto his bed. I bursted out laughing when he started tickling me. "Char stop!" I laughed. Charmander smiled. "What? I'm not touching youuu." He joked and gave me a dorky grin. Pip and Mew smiled. Charmander was acting himself again. I don't care if he was tickling me, he's back to being my dork. He finally stops and I smirk. "My turn!" I laugh and he screams no as I tackle him. Pip and Mew stare in awe as me and Charmander blush. "Oh...ummm...sorry...." I whispered flustered. Charmander looked like he was going to have a freak attack so I went to back away but his warm hands grabbed me by my cheeks. He pulled me towards him until our lips touched. My eyes widen and my face flushed bright pink in surprise. I slowly melted into the kiss and kissed him back, now making him surprised. Mew and Pip were squealing and totally shipping us but I didn't care. Right now I was enjoying my first kiss. We both pulled away and his face was as red as a cherry. My face was bright pink and I whispered, "W...why did you kiss me?" Charmander looked away. "Because....I....I..." He stopped because we both remembered Mew and Pip were still in the room. They both had stars in their eyes and were grinning like idiots. I stood up then Char did too. I rubbed my arm and looked down super embarrassed. Charmander looked down. Pip giggled, "Tell her you loveee herrrr." Charmander quickly glared at Pip and my eyes widened. He loved me? I looked at Char and he quickly ran out. "Char wait!" I started running after him but then stopped when he teleported away leaving me starstruck in the hallway. Tapanga was in her doorway so she saw some of what happened. She walked towards me and put her hand on my shoulder. "Give him a little space ok?" She said and I looked at her. "Thanks...Tapanga." I smiled at her, happy that we were friends again. She was usually stubborn but then again she's fluffing amazing so it was worth it. Later that day I was sitting on my bed drawing something. I stopped and my eyes widened when I realized I drew Charmander with his stupid dorky grin. I stared at it then I started drawing me with him. I was in his arms with a huge smile. I grabbed my color pencils and started coloring it in. I was finishing up his shining blue eyes when Goldie opened my door. "Ashes is here!" He said making me jump up. "Ima coming!" I told him as he ran out. I ripped out the page with me and Char, folded it, and stuck it into my front pocket. I ran downstairs and rushed outside with everyone else. I looked forward to see Ashes....and...CHARMANDER!? What is he doing!? He left his dad because his dad wants him to be evil. Wait...oh no. I stared at Char and our eyes met. I looked away from him. "Ashes why are you here!?" I asked feeling my heart break. Ashes smiled. "Well...my son told me where you Saviors were so, here I am." Ashes said. Flowey scrowled. "YOU FUCKING SNITCH WE TRUSTED YOU!" He yelled at Charmander making him put his orange hood over his head. Tapanga stared in disbelief but narrowed her eyes. "So what are you gonna do now? We're all way better then you Ashes." She saids glaring at him then Char. Any other time I would of back talked with her but right now....a new feeling was in my heart, betrayal. Ashes laughed. "Oh of course you all are. But so is my son." He smirks and Charmander's hands go on fire. My eyes widened. Char was gonna fight us!? I went in the middle of everyone before anyone did anything and held my arms out. "No! Please don't fight...we're friends!" I cried. Warm tears streamed down my face and I could just feel all the attention go on me. Ashes laughed again. "James...end her." He commanded and I stared at Char with wide eyes. Charmander walked towards me and my friends were ready to attack him. I put my hand behind me and a forcefield went over them. Tapanga yelled, "KAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I didn't say anything. I shut my eyes and my necklace glowed. Wings and horns appeared on me and I opened my eyes. "No one is gonna hurt my friends." I whispered. I flew into the air making everyone shocked that I had unleashed a new power. I flew up high and just stayed there. I didn't want to think...I didn't want to feel. I felt something burning hot smack me and tears ran down my face. I turned around to see Charmander flying in the air with wings of his own. I stared at him with wide tearful eyes. He gave me a blank look. Blood went down my back. "Y...you...threw...a fireball...a...at me..." I stuttered shocked at his actions. Charmander looked down. "Char! I'm not gonna hurt you!" I yelled at him. He glared at me. "Why!?" He asked. My hands went into fists. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" I yelled. He stared at me. "Well...don't you get it...we can't be together. So forget about it...." Charmander said and I felt everything inside me shatter. "But you're my best friend..." I said trying not to cry. "Not any more." He said coldly. Charmander grabbed me by my shoulders, stared at me, and then his hands started burning my arms leaving burn marks. "Ow!" I cried out and smacked him with my demon tail. He let go and flew away. I felt weak. My wings faded along with my horns and I felt everything start moving fast. The next thing I knew I was falling...and no one could save me, they all were in my forcefield. I was shot in the heart and left to fall to my death. I slowly shut my eyes and let the tears fall as I fell out of the sky, just like my heart fell and shattered inside.
