It had been three days since the little encounter, and even though it was a Saturday, Kouyou couldn't help but sit in his office to the sound of a radio show, going over files yet again.
No matter how hard the rain poured outside he could still hear Shiroyama's screaming in his head. Trying to connect the dots was a lot easier said then done as he skimmed through another newspaper article on the boy:Wednesday 12:34 PM
JUNE 18th, 1998It seems another terror has struck downtown Shibuya as 12 dead bodies of young middle school girls were found in an alleyway yesterday morning.
Wasn't long until police managed to find the suspect- Yuu Shiroyama (age 19) in a small apartment complex not too far from the crime scene. Upon taking him into custody, the male suspect was found 'covered in blood and currently dismembering the body of an elderly lady' according to Chief Iwamura, who stands head of the police department.
While asking Shiroyama in interrogation to why he had committed such an act, it seems he is not willing to come forth or possibly mute. Many weapons and bags of limbs were hidden around the apartment, causing the CDC to assist cleaning the place long after police had inspected the residential home.
One sure thing that had been comf-Kouyou tossed the paper aside in shock, but mostly disgust, unable to take anymore.
Other news articles read on his confession and graphic images of his "work" as well as a few childhood pictures that somehow made their way into the folder.
It wasn't until he had closed the papers and shoved it all to the side, it hit him; If the year was 1998 and he was only 19-years-old, that would make him around his forties.
But in no way did he look a day over 20!Curiously, Kouyou pulles every sheet back out until he came across a package listing the basics when he finally comes across his birthdate: January 20th, 1979.
"1979!" He stands up alert. There was no way this could be true! How could the authorities or anyone else for that matter never notice this?! Never say anything?!
It could just be a typo, right? But the article...
He couldn't help but continue to read the report underneath;Patient's eyes are constantly wandering in fear of his surroundings. When hungry, he becomes hostile and uncontroable. A sturdy restraint is necessary as well as a daily shot of Korama's to subside the screaming and help him rest. He needs sleep more than anything by the looks of it, and states nothing more than the fact he's hungry. What for? I don't know, but the food given to him he deeply refuses.
His behavior becomes calm when it rains I've noticed and only screams when alone for names that seem to be spoken in tongues. Some nurses believe he's possessed while others like me, think he's simply loosing his mind.
Further analysis to come..Mastumoto Takanori
Scanning back over the date, it seemed that he was sent to this hospital only a year later, undergoing treatment by the name Mastumoto. Whoever he was, no longer worked here as the name in no form rung a bell to Kou.
His heart suddenly sank at the thought of never getting a chance to speak to someone who had worked on this wonder before, and for the first time in days, the honey blonde packed his things and went home.
