(Get some snacks this is a long one)

At this stage, Ash could bearly lift his arms.

The boy in the tube groaned, looking down to his cold arms. The once amazing blue markings had turned grey and lifeless, and his arms had turned several shades lighter. He shivered, cradling himself from the world.

A scientist was looking at Ash through the class, her face contorted in worry. She turned something on the console before her, and Ash felt the heat in the glass tube rise. He looked up to her in shock, and she smiled back, leaving the console and walking to his side. She crouched down, clutching a board to her chest. She had glasses and red hair, she looked kind.

"I can't bear to watch you suffer anymore. People deserve to live, especially children," she sighed, looking down. Ash was staring at her in wonder. She didn't seem like a Flare scientist.

"Why...are you helping me?" Ash croaked, uncurling himself. The woman smiled sweetly, standing back up and revealing a badge.

"I'm undercover for a secret organization. I'm sorry I didn't help you before this," she explained.

Suddenly, there was the noise of guns from behind the woman. She turned to the side, only to reveal Lysander and two armed guards. The woman shrunk to the side.

"I should've known you'd betray us. I don't have room for traitors," Lysander grumbled, folding his arms. The agent stared at the weapons aimed at her.

"Then kill me. It's the only thing you can do anyways," she snapped, her arms outstretched. Lysander smirked sarcastically, before signalling for the two to shoot. Ash turned away as blood splattered up against the glass. He was going to be sick. He took deep breaths as he shook.

"That's what happens when you misbehave, understand boy? Start the shocks, put them on medium. 10 minute interfills." he ordered to the remaining scientists, who with a few taps, had Ash crying in pain.

Ash was normally immune to shocks with the amount Pikachu gave him, but now that he was stupidly weaker it was much harder to ignore. He could feel his limbs twitching after the shocks had finished.

Lysander crouched down beside the boy, staring at him, "We nearly have all of your aura. I hope your ready to die, brat."

Ash stared at the man as he stalked away. His eyelids were heavy, but he fought to keep them up. He kept telling himself not to close them.

In case it was the last time he closed them.

"There it is. The ship," Clemont said, moving the binoculars from his eyes. Misty sighed, putting a hand on her hip.

"And how are we getting up there?" Brock asked as his Ninetails sat down beside him. Suicune looked to the sky, finding Mewtwo and Darkrai waiting in the clouds. He nodded to them.

"I have a way," Suicune announced, getting up from the ground. The small group turned and looked at him expectantly.

"Okay, how are we getting up then?" Serena asked. Suicune looked up as Mewtwo and Darkrai landed either side of them. The group looked on in shock, there eyes wide.

"We are here on Ash's behalf, not yours," Mewtwo said sharply, waving it's tail around. Misty blinked once, twice. Since when was Mewtwo a girl?

"Why should we trust you?" Misty asked. Mewtwo snorted.

"You don't have to. We're just here because we have to be," Darkrai growled as Mewtwo used Physic on the people to lift them into the sky. Clemont flailed in shock.
