Ch.27

I had been here at daddy's for about 2 weeks.
I learned a lot while being here. That strange lady is Jamie and she's my step mother. The baby she had is hers and daddy's daughter. She's my half sister and her name is Violet.
Daddy has been paying more attention to her. I can see why though.
She's a baby. But, I also need attention. But I'm not going to make a big scene to give me it.
I just need to wait until the right time.
Right now daddy was at the studio practicing.
Jamie was in her room with Violet. I was in my room colouring.
I was getting kind of hungry and didn't want Jamie to do anything. You know, because of the baby.
So I went into the kitchen to fix me something.
While being at my mothers, I had to cook. Which wasn't fun. But now I can fix anything.
I decided to fixing french toast and scrambled eggs.
No, I wasn't trying to get attention, yet.
I made sure to fix it right so nothing bad happened.
Daddy got home about 10 minutes after I made my food.
"Did you make that yourself?" He asked as he sat down his stuff and took off his shoes.
I shook my head and continued eating.
"You know how I don't like you cooking." He said.
"I know, I was just so used to it at my mothers. And I was hungry."
He's still pretty shocked that I can talk.
"Alright. Well, I'll be up in my room if you need me." And with that, he was off.
Daddy hasn't spent much time with me.
He did the first 3 days I was here.
How, he talks, but shows no action.
Action of love, I mean.
It makes me kind of sad, to be honest.
After I was done, I washed up my dishes and went back up into my room.
I've noticed there being something inside of my closet.
Like an entrance to something. I've always wanted to explore it, but I'm too scared.
Plus, I can't reach the top.
