Chapter Six

"Hey guys! Where have you been?" Patton asks, not turning around. "P-Patton." I studder. This catches his attention and he turns around immediately, worry in his eyes. "Virgil?! What happened?" Patton asks seeing that I'm only in an oversized jacket. He sees that I'm crying and he starts to cry too. "P-Patton. I... p-please don't cr-cry." I beg through tears of my own. He hugs me, still in tears.

"What happened," Patton demands, angry and sad. I glance at Thomas, hoping he would talk for me. He nods, understanding why I'm looking him.

"He was raped by his ex and I saved him," Thomas says. Patton freezes. "Well... um... I-I won't get pregnant at-at least..." I say, laughing a bit before falling on the floor, crying my eyes out. Patton and Thomas hug me as I start getting angry at my pathetic self. "Why am I so fucking weak!? I hate my self so much! I should be able to defend myself!" I shout through tears. I escape their hug and go to my room.

I throw Thomas' jacket on the floor. "Damn it! Damn it all to hell!" I scream. I hear pounding on the door. I just crawl into a ball and cry. "I'm so useless..." I think as I fall asleep.

I wake up in a large shirt. In my bed. Patton asleep in a chair next bed. I smile and kiss his forehead. He moves a bit so I pet his head. "I love you Patton. I'm sorry I mess up all the time." I start to get up when I feel a pair of arms around me. "I love you, too, Verge. With all my heart... just kidding! Not even your family would love you. You deserve all the pain you get and I should have let you kill yourself . I should have let you die!" Patton yells. He slowly transforms into Joey and starts choking me. As I lose consciousness I notice the room going up in flames.

I wake up, tears stinging my eyes. "Calm down Virgil. It was just a dream. Patton may not love you back, but he wouldn't want me dead." I realize I'm still on the floor naked, but with a blanket over me. "Y-You love me back?" I hear Patton say in surprise.

We looked at each other. I consider running but finally decided against it. I just smiled and said "Yeah, I love you. I'm sorry." He goes down to my level, hug me, and whispers "Thank god." And we just sat there for as long as we could.

I then wake up (again) naked in bed with Thomas' jacket on me and a letter on my night stand. I decide to read the note later. "Okay, let's do a couple tests to see if this is a dream," I think out loud. I immediately pinch myself as hard as I can before I wince in pain.

"Test one says awake. Now for test two." I take a deep breath and say out loud "I love Patton." Nothing happens and I sigh, filled with relief.

I get dressed so I can go pick up Dodie. After I give Thomas his jacket I remember the keys are in Patton's rainbow sweatshirt.

"Patton! Either give me the keys or drive me to the airport!" I fum with (fake) anger while chasing my cute brunette. I mean the cute brunette. I mean the brunette! "Okay, get in the car. Let's go," Patton says like I wasn't chasing him around. I decide to ignore it and go to the car.

While we sit in the car I decided to read the note.

Hey Virgil! You cried your self to sleep, but you weren't wearing Thomas' jacket and seemed cold so I wrapped it around you, put you into your bed, and tucked you in. I love you Virge.

We to the airport and I hold up a sign the says Dodie♡. While we wait for Dodie, two girls with brown hair and glasses come up to us.

The short girl with blue eyes seems tired, her hair is the same light brown as Patton's. Her hair is also also straight to her shoulders. The other girl, taller with a darker brown hair that's long wavy, and she has hazel eyes. She seems smart.

"Hi! I'm Quinn and this my best friend, Annie," the short one says, "Anyways, can you tell Thomas-" "And Roman!" "And Loman that we say hi? We're huge fans if you all." The girls look at us excitedly. "Of course." Patton replies. The girls hug and thank us.

"Quinn! Annie! Come on!" another girl calls for them. "Coming Kim!" Quinn yells back. While running back to their friend, they wave goodbye to us.

"They we're so cute!" Patton squeals, making me chuckle. Suddenly I feel a pair of arms around me. I turn to see Dodie with a grin on her face. "Hi Dodie!" I say, hugging her back. "Who's that?" she asks, pointing at Patton. "I'm Patton! Nice to meet you," he says, sticking out his hand for her to shake. She grins and accepts. "So this is your crush," Zoey whispers to me so I blush. "We should go to the car," I exclaim and that's what we do.

"I'm going to tell the guys about the girls we met," I tell Patton. He nods and quickly pulls over. "Why did you do that?" I ask him. "Look..." he growls. I look out the window to see Joey and three of his friends. Quinn tries to fight the four boys, and keeps Annie behind her.

One of the boys grope Quinn and she only finches slightly. Another one the boys goes near Annie and Quinn tries to hurt them even though Annie seems stronger.

Joey ends up holding Quinn, making it so she can't move her arms. Quinn starts kicking and Annie tries to go help her. One of the guys holds Annie in place. When they started groping the girls and kissing them I knew we have to do something. "Dodie, we're going to try and fight of the guys. Patton call for back up." Patton nods and texts Thomas, Logan, and Roman.

We all get out to help the girls. I see Quinn isn't able to fight anymore and Annie is almost to that point. Joey lets go of Quinn and start licking and sucking her boobs. She smirks and knees him in the stomach. She pulls her shirt down and elbows one of his friends in the back. "That's the power of sharp elbows you man whores," she yells and tries to help Annie. One of the guys messing with Annie pushes her to the ground. Thomas gets here just in time to see that and punches the guy in the stomach. I hit the guy holding Annie in the head with my elbow.

"Thanks a ton! The girl we were with tricked us into coming here. She's a jealous fool that thinks everyone who talks to her boyfriend likes him. I hate fucking her," Quinn groans. I saw her arm which was all scratched up in a way similar to mine. "What happened?" I ask, pointing at her arm. She freezes for a second before saying "Yes." I wait for her to continue but she just goes and grabs her sweatshirt.

"Hey... can we stay with you guys?" Annie asks. "Sure but you can't stay together. None of our house have enough room for that," Logan explains. "Ann, you go with Logan to stay with him and Roman, and I'll go stay with Thomas, Patton, and Virgil," Quinn says. Patton, Thomas, and I frown, worried we won't have enough room until Dodie speaks up. "Actually, I need to talk to Virge."

Dodie pulls me aside and tells me "I'm actually staying with my girlfriend... " I gave her a confused look and she explained that her parents trusted me and I was an awful liar so she didn't tell me about it just incase her parents called me.

We go back to the group and tell them Quinn's idea will work. They all nod saying it was okay. I see Quinn looking at my arm once but she doesn't ask.

After we get things settled down we decide to just hang out a bit. "I'll be back." Quinn says heading towards the bathroom. After we hear the toilet flush, she comes out. I then realize Quinn was still wearing her sweat shirt (not that I can really judge).

I wake up to see a girl in a sweat shirt asleep on my floor. Then I remember yesterday. Quinn wakes up minutes later and starts packing her things after check her phone. I just stare as she writes a note and walked out the door. "What is she doing?" I think to myself. I pick up the note and read it.

Dear Thomas and Patton,
If you ever want to see want to see Virgil again... just go into his room. I wish I could see you all again but I probably won't. It was amazing meeting you guys. Welp, I'm leaving to get Annie and my grandma will come get us. Later Skaters.

I look at the note and smile. I'm glad the girls met us. I folded up the note and put it on the table for the boys before I go into the bathroom.

I look around a while before I realized I hadn't seen any of my hidden blades. She flushed them yesterday, didn't she. Well, there isn't much I can do now. I might as well go back to sleep.
