Nichole's POV
I just arrived in my dorm with Chloe to do the homework, as we have to do this assignment about the history of the Vikings. I turn on the dorm lights and walk over to my bed. My side of the dorm is decorated with a lot of anime posters, Pokemon pictures, cosplayer costume inspirations, and pictures of my friends from my high school. Two colored LED lights hung on the ceiling of my side and a few paper cranes grace across the ceiling, varying from pink to blue, gold to metallic green and cherry blossoms to blue & white china patterns.
"Well, home sweet home...I guess?" Chloe jokes as she gestures at the dorm. I laugh, "Whatever, at least it's cozy in here."
As we sit onto the floor and take out our laptops, I start thinking about a restaurant near the campus called Border Cafe. Ugh, I wanna eat there today. Their food are delicious as hell. I can't wait to eat one of their nachos or burritos again. But first things first, homework.
"Hey Chloe, here you go." I toss her a bag of spicy Doritos from my snack box near me and she successfully catches it. She thanks me as she digs in.
"Anyway, let's just get to work." I crack my knuckles before I turn on my laptop.
An hour later
"Uggggggggh, I'm so done with this!" Chloe whines as she rolls onto her back on the floor. We have written only two large paragraphs on our essays, but she's not wrong. I'm done with this too. We still need to write a few more words in the second paragraph before we'd be done for the day.
"Me too. I think we deserve a small break, since it's not actually due until this Friday." I suggest. Chloe looks at me for a moment before she grins, "I'd like that a lot."
My phone dings with a message. I pick it up from the floor nearby and notice that it's from Kaleb Walker. I giggle as I open the message.
Heyyyy babe. Kaleb texts me. I giggle again as I look at the message before texting him, Hiya hottie.
A few moments. Then he texts back, What ya doing?
Just working on homework with my friend. Boring as hell.
I can understand that. Fuck the homework, the society are trying to brainwash us, eh?
I softly laugh as I text, Oh, absolutely.
Wanna go out tonight? Kaleb texts back. I bite my lower lip as I raise my left eyebrow before responding, Where to?
I know a really great place. Plenty of drinks and food, and some partying there as well. ;)
Sounds good to me. We'll meet at the usual place, right?
Hell yeah. See you at 6:30, babe.
I smile as I sent him a heart emoji text before I set my phone down and sigh out loud. Kaleb and I usually meet up at my dorm before we go out or whatever the hell we wanna do together.
"Hey, wanna go eat at Border Cafe today?" Chloe asks me, resting her chin in her palm. I look at her in shock. Did she read my mind or what?
"Are you serious?" I giggle as I run my fingers through my hair. "I have been dreaming of that place a while ago!"
"Good idea, but first, let's finish this paragraph. Then we can go eat." Chloe gestures at her laptop. I bite my lower lip for a moment before I shrug, "Alrighty then, fair enough."
Unknown's POV
I wander across the Harvard campus, looking around and hoping to find someone to kill. It's still daylight outside, but I hope I can find someone to track down and wreck that person down.
