about two weeks go on. jacks over almost everyday. and he seemed kinda interested in me but I definitely do not wanna get my hopes up.

I sat in my room reading a book and I heard my door open and through the crack I saw bright eyes and blonde hair. I shut my book and walked over to the door and opened it. jack johnson was standing there.

"hey beautiful." he said as he hugged me swaying back and forth.

I was giggling until he let go. he grabbed my hand and brought me back over to the bed and sat down and patted the bed next to him telling me to sit down. he held both of my hand and looked me in the eyes for a good ten seconds "good news!" he said.

I smiled "well me and Vanessa broke up last night.." I smiled harder. "are you ok?" I asked him. "never been better. I can finally have the girl I want. I smiled even harder. "who's that?" I asked. "you know your friend Samantha?"

I nodded as my smile shrunk. "I'm just kidding babe obviously it's you." he tackled me lightly and laid on me he kissed my cheek and sat up. he ran his fingers through my hair and leaned in close and kissed my lips. he moved back and went in for another kiss. as the second kiss was going in my brother walked in.

"I told you Kenzie.." I sat up and pushed jack j off of me and ran up to my brother.

"how come you didn't tell me he liked me?" he looked behind me and jack grabbed my shoulder "I told him not to tell you because I thought it would be better if I told you. I also had a feeling you would never like me. but after jack told me about the whole journal situation. I couldn't resist telling you."

he grabbed both of my hands and interlocked fingers. "how couldn't I like you? your perfect." his phone rang "hello?" "oh my god I totally forgot." he hung up kissed my cheek and said "I'm so sorry I have football practice in five. I'll come over after."

when he left my brother sat me down. he smiled at me "I love you and jack. but do me a favor and please don't date or anything else with jack. please." and without allowing me to respond he stood up and walked out of the room.
