Starting with a smile Chapter 6

Camila's POV

 Later that day I received a message from Dinah. It said:

"Hey girl what do you think about you and the girls come to my house later?"

I replied "sure what should we bring with us?"

"Something to swim would be great if that is okay with you?"  

After that text I decided to call Dinah and she picked up

"Hey Mila", she said. "hey Dinah it would be okay with me but I won't go into pool so I don't have to take my other clothes off. It would be okay if it were only you guys but Lauren doesn't know anything about it" "Hey it's okay you don't need to apologize everything is okay. Are you planning on telling Lauren?" "Maybe but not now" "Okay Mila see you later bye" "bye", I said and hung up.

I asked the other girls and they all agreed, so I packed my things and went to Dinah. I was the first at Dinah's house so we decided to talk a little bit. "So Mila", Dinah started the conversation "have you done it in the last time?". I only nodded and tears started to form in my eyes. "Oh come here", Dinah said in a very soft voice and hugged me. This is when I started to cry. "Shh everything is going to be okay", Dinah said trying to comfort me. I looked up ant her and said "You know I hate that noise". "Oh right sorry but seriously I'm here for you when you need someone to talk okay?". "Okay. Thank you Dinah", is the only thing I could say. " Thank you for what", she questioned me. "Thank you for being here for me and being the best friend somebody could only imagine and for not leaving me", is what I said and now Dinah also had tears in her eyes. She hugged me again really thight and whispered "I'm never going to leave you... ever". We hugged for a few minutes without saying a word. I'm so grateful for Dinah to have her in my life. "I love you Dinah", I whispered. "I love you too".

When we heard the doorbell we quickly checked that nobody could see that we have been crying. We got to the door and when we opened it, we could feel Normani and Ally hugging us. I looked behind them and saw Lauren standing in the door frame not knowing what to do. " Come on Lolo join us", I said waving her to us. She gave me a smile an joined th group hug. We let go of each other and Lauren started talking. " I know I only know you guys for a few days but I feel like you guys are my friends already". "You are our friend Lauren", Ally said. " I never really had those kind of friends like you guys are, I always had like the kind of friends that only used you to be popular. And since I'm planning on staying at this school I hope we could stay friends". she explained. "Ofcourse Lauren and we have to thank you for defending Camila against Rachelle", Normani said. "Oh please no big deal", Lauren giggled and all of us started laughing. "Okay do you want to stay here at the door or should we go to the pool?", Dinah asked. Lauren and Ally said in unison " Let's go to the pool". We all went to the pool and Lauren, Normani and Ally instantly took of their clothes and jumped into the pool. Dinah looked at me and layed down on the grass with me. " Come on in the pool guys", Lauren squealed because Normani and Ally pushed her under water. "No thanks we just stay here and get a little bit tanned";Dinah answered. I just nodded and mouthed " Thank you " to her. After a while Lauren decided to pick me up and throw me with all my clothes on into the pool. First I didn't realized it because I was drifting off to sleep and when the cold water hit me I just screamed and Lauren started laughing uncontrollably.
