She slid down on the wall and fell on the cold tiles on the bathroom floor. She held onto the golden locket around her neck and dropped the razor next to her and stared at her wrist. Her eyes that were constantly red from crying welled up with tears.

Her name was Aurora Winters, her piercing blue stared at the ceiling and began to dilate. Although the pain was increasing so was her happiness, she hated the world and wanted to die as she began to close her eyes she heard the door opened and saw her father, Gabriel Winters.

He rolled his eyes, "Again? I have important things to do Aurora! I'll call the doctor"

Aurora frowned and felt the world around her get dizzy, it came to a stop when it went all black.

In Aurora's Dreams

Aurora's eyes fluttered as she awoke, she looked around her surrounding and saw that everything was pitch black. She stood up and patted herself confirming that she was herself. She looked around and spotted a light, she ran to it and touched it...

Aurora then opened her eyes once more and realized that she was now in her bedroom and looked down to see wires connected to her skin and saw bandages wrapped around all scars and bruises. She touched her head and felt a bandage around her head and felt a repetitive excruciating pound.

She frowned and touched all over her pale skin, "I'm...alive?" She asked herself.

She heard a chuckle and turned to see a doctor who had a bright smirk on his face, "Yeah I couldn't believe myself! It just seems like a miracle"

Aurora looked at the doctor with confusion, "What's going on? I just suddenly cut myself and now I'm in the hospital, it feels like I got hit by a car!" She exclaimed.

The doctor frowned, "Just some side effects of the medicine, you've been resting for two days"

Aurora touched the locket on her necklace and took a deep breath and smiled, "Thank god" She muttered under her breath. She heard a knock on the door, the doctor opened it and revealed her father. He had a fake smile and ran towards his daughter with open arms.

He hugged her tightly in his arms, "I was so worried, my only daughter!" Aurora frowned and felt her father hugged her tighter, "If you don't smile, you'll be knocked out for a week" He whispered.

Aurora shook and then plastered a fake smile on her face, "I- I'm okay...I missed you as well" She said with the most convincing voice she could put on. Her father released her and turned to the doctor.

"That will be all doctor, thank you for the assistance. You will be paid immediately" The doctor nodded and exited the room before taking an extra glance before leaving. Once her father confirmed that the doctor left the penthouse. He took a vase from her room and flung it quickly towards Aurora, who dodged it quickly,

He turned to her, eyes full of rage, "You bitch, I give you money, I give you a big beautiful home to live it, I give you the most expensive doctors in the country and you try to kill yourself and make me look bad?!"

Aurora winced in pain as she felt her bruises and scars starting to burn and she looked at her father, "I'm sorry it's just...I miss Mom" 

Her father started growing veins on his forehead and attempted to hit her but held back, he then took a deep breath, "Don't try to kill yourself again"

He left the room making sure to slam the door. Her father was a ruthless businessman who had one of the biggest businesses in New York. He was forcing her to own a business that she didn't want to run, she wanted to be a writer...just like her mother.
