       Summers pov

I was in the car with Freddy and Mrs.Huerta heading to my gymnastics meet.

"I'm so excited to see you win" Mrs.Huerta said

"Well I don't think I'm that good" I said while laughing a little bit

"Well your pretty good" freddy said

"Pretty good , I doubt you could do anything as good as her " Mrs.Huerta said.

"Roasted" i said laughing

Mrs.huerta turned around to face me which made me pretty scared because she wasn't facing the road.

"I think your going to do awesome." She said

"I neve-"

*CRASH*

All I could see was a black , I couldn't think  all I could do is hear. I could hear Mrs.Huerta and Freddy

After a while I opened my eyes.

"OMG summer your awake " Freddy said

I just smiled at his happiness.

"I'm sorry summer,this is all my fault" she said while tears started form.

"Its fine Mrs.huerta" I said

But I knew it wasn't .

"Mrs.Huerta I need to talk to you." The doctor said.

Oh no what if they saw my scars and  bruises . oh no

Mrs.Huerta came out crying .

I couldn't feel anything I felt blacken again.

A few hours later I woke up I felt my legs under ice and a few wires on my cuts on my wrists oh no they founded out

"Summer we need the truth " Mrs.huerta and the doctor said .

Right when that happened Sam aka Freddy's younger brother and Mr.Huerta came in.

"Sweeties can you please leave we need to talk to summer"

They were out in a flash.

After I told them about everything well not everything I told them I cut because of my dad not because of how I feel because I didn't want them prep talking me and stuff.

"Mrs.Hathaway , I'm sorry but this is serious we need to call the police" the doctor said .

I looked down at leg and saw it in a cast. Nonono I couldn't of broken my leg. Could I?

"Okay , but umm doctor what's on my leg" I ask trying not to show any emotion .

"Well I must inform that you have broken your leg and.."

I didn't let him finish .

"No no , this can't be true I want a different doctor " I said crying .

"Summer I'm really sorry"Mrs.Huerta said rubbing my back

" well when can I do gymnastics again?" I said

"Well gymnastics is pretty off the bat your leg needs to rest and that would take like 9-10 weeks if so more to heal " The doctor said.

I burst into tears.

"Come on summer let's go " Mrs.Huerta said in a sad tone.

//a few weeks later //

"Okay summer you ready to go back to the hospital to try and get moving " Mrs.Huerta said happily

"Yes" I said

I didn't want to because I don't care I just wanna do gymnastics again .

Once we got there I saw a bunch of people who could barely move.

"Hey summer" a lady said

"Umm hi do I know you ?" I said trying not to be rude

"Well actually you don't but you will I'm Katie " she said

"Well I guess you already know me but I'm summer" I said chuckling a little bit

"Well we're first going to start off with leg stretches " she said

"Well I better make the most of it like the doctor said I should find a different career " I said a little bit sad.

"Well what did you do at first" Katie said .

"Gymnastics I did everything you could , bars, mats , front and back handsprings " I said

"But I guess I could never do those things again" I aid forming tears .

"Who ever said never" she said .

"My leg says it" I said

"Well when the front door is close go to the back there is always a way in " she said .

"Well what if the back door is close " I said .

"Then to through a window ,like I said there's always a way in " she said

I thought about that in my head over and over again

There's always a way in even if the back door is close there's always a window.
