I saw her again. I saw her at the British Museum 4 days ago. The girl who was looking at me when the three of us were just loitering around London. The thought of her seeing again, makes me feel curious of who she was and why does she felt so familiar to me. Right now, I am just lying down once again, not knowing what I should do.
" Hey, Alex."
I sat back up and look down at my bunk bed and saw Serporia.
" Yeah? What's up?"
" You need to come downstairs. Charles, Edward are there as well. Someone wants to see you."
My expressions began to be puzzled. Maybe Dad arrived already from his work, I guess? When I came downstairs and saw the two of them, feeling guilty over something.
" Hmm? What's going on?"
I can see that André's concerned, based on the way on his eyes are shaking; Charles' expression was very desolate. Do you think that they were scolded again by Dad? I may not be sure of it but it could mean serious problem.
" Alex?" a soft, gentle voice called me
I turned slowly to where the direction of its voice and when I looked at the person, my emotions fell.
" Hey....Mom." I am trying to look down, ignoring her
" It's been a long time since I last saw you. You three have grown very well. Four and a half years ago, correct?"
Our mom came near to me and wrapped her arms around me while I feel confused. Is she really here? This isn't a dream, right?
" It's very nice to see you again, Serporia. You've grown into a wonderful girl." She compliments our cousin right after she let go of me
" Thanks, Aunt Wei." Serporia smiles innocently
" Anyways, Mom, do you want to have a seat first and let me get you something to drink?"
" Oh, sure thing."
I quickly went to the kitchen and get something in the fridge. Not for long, I didn't move and became quite confused. Is she really here? I mean.... she left us while we're young and we needed her the most, she didn't even told us where is she going, but she still had the guts to be here after all these years?
I feel angry at myself because of the thought that not only our mother had returned, but also about our oldest sister, Hailie. Back then, our mom and Ash always argue in a very unexpected timing. Sometimes, I don't even know how will Ash react when Mom arrived in a very unexpected timing as well.
