Hailie
Timeline: The next day (Monday, 2 days after I met the Crown Prince)
Mornings are always the worst days of my life. Want to know why? Because it sucks, every morning you have to do your morning routine that sometimes, or maybe frequently, you tend to forget what are you going to do. But today is the first time that it would be "quite" different.
As soon as I woke up, I took a cereal box from fridge and ate it. Usually, I cook something for breakfast, but today I can't because I am too lazy enough to cook, and also, every time I would cook something, some household people comes out and help me up and you know I hate being helped.
I took a shower as soon as I finish breakfast. In the meantime, my brothers are busy doing their own things and my cousin is dozed off once again because I suspected that she went home late, again.
As I got out from the bathroom, my phone was ringing. I was thinking it was Dad because I haven't seen him arrive last night. But it turns out it was an unknown number. I was having second decisions whether I would answer it or not. So, I answered the call with caution.
" Uhm, hello. Who is this?"
" Hello, to whom am I speaking to?" His voice was quite almost serious and quite elegant
" This is Hailie Lim. And... to whom am I speaking to?"
" Oh, good morning, Ms. Lim. This is Mr. Maynard of the British Government. I am just outside your house right now. Please look at your 10 once you looked outside."
So, I looked outside and imagine outside would be a clock. I looked at where the 10 is, and I saw a tall man (He's about like 5'11" and he's quite slim. He's also wearing sunglasses and a blue formal attire.) glancing at my window as he was waving his hands at me.
" So, if you can probably see me, please be outside and I'll wait for you here. If your household ask you where you'll go.... tell them you'll just be outside and look around London. Cause they knew what that means already."
The guy hung up as soon as he finished talking to me. I sneaked out as carefully as I can as I went out of the gate, while the guy was still there, looking at his pocket watch.
" Well, seems like you made it in quite what I expected, Hailie. I do hate to break you in but you didn't changed quite a bit, Ashley." He took off his sunglasses and looks somewhere else (He has brownish-gold eyes and a fair skin. Quite unexpected that I was very much detailed.)
At first, I don't recognize him because he's quite confusing with his voice a while ago in our phone conversation.
" Anyways, shall we take a stroll first around the Gardens?"
" Uhh, sure?"
We walked down the Gardens and became a bit silent. He was looking somewhere as I was observing his every move.
