Chapter 14

Tessa's p.o.v
I walked into my room when Jake came in. He closed the door behind him. I will admit that I liked Jake before Tristan but it would have never worked. Anyways Tristan is way nicer and kind to me he makes me feel important. Jake sits next to me.
"How was the date?" Jake asks. I don't know why he's asking but I answer the question truthfully.
"It was refreshing and great," I said smiling because of the thought about me and Tristan. Jake looks disappointed I thought his feelings went away.
"Planning on a second date?" Jake asks I nod not knowing what to expect.
"Don't," Jake says looking at me straight in the eyes. "Don't what?" I ask.
"Don't go. I still like you Tessa I haven't stopped I tried to forget about my feelings but I can't. You with another guy makes it worse. Please Tessa don't go," Jake said looking completely sad. I may still like him a little but I'm happy with Tristan and I don't want to ruin that.
"I can't do that Jake. I'm sorry," He quietly says okay and walked out. I feel bad I want to go make him feel better but I don't know how. I want to clear my head so I text Tristan.

T- hey
T🍪- what's up.
T- can I stay with you tonight?
T🍪- Of corse can I ask why?
T- I don't really wan to talk about it.
T🍪- okay I'll pick you up be there in ten
T- thanks cookie
T🍪- No prob Tessa bear.
I go tell Erika that I'm staying over with Tristan so when any one wakes up they don't freak out like last time; long story. I walk out of her bedroom and Tristan tells me he's here. I grab my bag and leave. I here a door upstairs open and I quickly walk out.

Once me and Tristan get to his house I go upstairs right away. He comes in a little after and he wraps his arms around me. The warmth feels nice. But I can't get what Jake said out of my mind. I can't like him it's not right and it's not what I want or is it?
