Nico woke to someone shaking him and yelling in his ears. It was too loud, but not the booming, round shaking too loud of humans. No, this was the too loud of another borrower yelling in his ear. The voice was... Familiar. His sleep fogged mind was unable to recognize it, but Nico was sure he'd heard this voice before. Where, though?

"-co? Nico? Please, Neeks, wake up! Nico!" As his mind slowly caught up with his body in awareness, he realized just where he'd heard this voice before.

     "Hazel?" Nico mumbled.

"Nico!" He suddenly felt himself being hugged still to tight. He opened his eyes and was greeted with curly brown hair. Nico smiled; he thought he'd never see that ridiculously hard to manage ever again.

"Hey, sis..." Nico said, returning the hug as though it was the last he'd ever receive. The tight embrace made his stomach churn, but that didn't matter now. The feeling of turmoil in his gut didn't matter either, because Hazel was with him. They could get out, go home, and pretend none of this ever happened. He could take his sister and just leave, he might need a bit of help for a bit, but that'd pass fairly quickly; it always did. Winter was almost over anyway, maybe he'd take Hazel to the Camp. It would take a while, yes, but Nico was certain he remembered how to get there.

"Nico? You okay?" Hazel's voice cut through his introspection like a warm knife to butter.

"Yeah- Yeah, I'm fine, Haze," Nico replied. He could feel his stomach doing flips, but that still wasn't important. " We should-" Nico's speech was promptly cut short by a gagging sensation in the back of his throat, followed by the awful, awful feeling of the remains of his cereal from about a day ago pushing it's way out  of his bowels. He could vaguely hear Hazel yelling his name from... somewhere? Her yelling gave him an even bigger headache than he already had, which barely seemed possible, but hey, there he was, still puking up everything he had in his stomach.

Will could feel his eyes widen at her words as he stood, dumbstruck. He was here?! of all people, his father was here. Now. Eyes blank, he began to pace around the living room, trying to process the new information. As the blond took a step forward, he noticed something on the ground. Bending down to pick the glass up and put it away, he realized why- Oh. Him. Will looked down at his shoes, realizing what he'd forgotten in a split second, as we always do when something of such a level of importance is forgotten.

In a split second, Will was already moving back to the small bedroom. As he reached the mostly closed bedroom door, though, he hesitated. What would happen when he entered? Sure, it was inevitable, but still. Would the... whatever he was, even still be there? There was a good chance he wouldn't be. After all, Will had practically scared him to death. On the other hand, that also meant there was no good reason not to enter.

'Here goes nothing...' Will thought. Taking a deep breath, he pushed the door open.

Hazel sat on the bean's bed, quietly listening to her brothers tale of how he'd been discovered by him and subsequently ended up here. For the record, they both knew that the giants were called human beings, but it was tradition. Besides, it was much more fun to say bean anyways, so why not?

"So... yeah. That about sums up the entire story." Nico said, but Hazel knew her brother was leaving something out. It wasn't anything she could put a finger in, Nico might not think it was important to the story, but that just didn't seem likely. Nico had this habit of putting absolutely any detail that could possibly have any relevance or help ever. Hazel's thoughts were cut off by a sudden and loud creaking sound. This would have had her complete and undivided attention, except that at that same moment Nico began to clutch his stomach. He doubled over, clutching his stomach. Then, Nico made a choked sound, and vomited. Once what seemed like all the bile in his stomach had been regurgitated, Nico finally, once again, passed out.
