Carol Fairchild's P.O.V.
I can't believe my parents would do this to me!!!! They didn't even ask how I would feel if we moved across the country, sometimes I wish they weren't my parents but I can't do anything about it, I just dread what's going to happen when I have to tell my friends I don't want them to be mad and not call or text me. But I have to and the time is right now since they're coming over.
I hear the doorbell and my mom calls me down "Carol your friends are here"
"Ok coming"
I walk downstairs and see my friends that I've known for years, I've known Brandon and Hanji the longest but the others I've known for a year or two
"Hey Carol" they all said
"Hey Brandon, Hanji, Nico, Hope, and Jesse"
"Why don't you head up to the loft and I'll bring you some snacks"
"Ok thanks mom, come on guys"
We all went up to the loft which is basically my hangout place
"So what do you guys want to do"
"Truth or Dare" Hanji said
"Watch a movie" Brandon said
"Play a board game" Nico said
"Better yet lets play video games" Jesse said
"Or we can just talk" Hope said
"Since my moms making snacks we can watch a movie and the play some video games or board games, then we can play a couple rounds of Truth or Dare and then we can talk until you guys have to go home, how does that sound??"
"Perfect idea as always this is why we'll fall apart without you"
That hit me as if I was slapped because I was scared what would happen when I told them I'll have to hope for the best no pun intended
"What movie?" Brandon said since he was the closer to the movie shelf
"How about Harry Potter" Nico said
"Yes lets watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that's my favorite" I said (that's actually true)
"Ok" Brandon grabbed it and paced it in the DVD player my mom then came with the snacks
"Here's the snacks I hope you like them"
"I'm sure we will thanks Mom"
"Thanks Mrs. Fairchild"
"No problem" the movie started and I was hopping up and down because I loved he movie so much
-------Time Skip to after the movie------
"Great movie choice Carol" Hope said
"Thanks Hope, but before we do anything else I really think I should tell you the main reason I invited you over and why there's boxes all over the place"
"Yeah I was actually kinda curious but I thought it'd be rude" Jesse said
"The reason I because I'm moving to New York, my parents got a job offer for broadway and so they're moving us there so they don't have to leave me alone"
"Don't leave it's about to be Christmas break how can you leave it's not fair" Hanji said this while breaking my rib cage from her hug
"Yeah it's not fair" Brandon said the rat were quiet
"Please don't hate me I begged them to let me stay here because I didn't want to move I told them I didn't mind being alone but they wouldn't listen, I'm so sorry"
"Don't be sorry it isn't your fault" Brandon said
"Actually it is I bet she's lying to us and the real reason she moving is because she hates us" Hope said shocker right total opposite of her name
"How can you say that me and Hanji have known her the longest so we know that's not true, whoever thinks that just leave right now" Brandon said everyone except for Nico, Brandon and Hanji left
"Why did you guys stay" I asked because I needed to know that they were true friends and that they didn't stay because they pitied me
"I know me and Brandon stayed because we know that's not the truth" Hanji said
"I figured as much but why did you stay Nico?" I asked because he's one of my newer friends
"I stayed because I trust you guys and your the first person who talked to me and made me fell wanted at this school"
They all hugged me and I suggested we watch another movie but this time we watched Annie because Hanji just has a sense of humor anytime, but I'm glad that when I move at least those three will have each other and I can talk to them all the time, but I'm still worried about New York what will happen?
