A/N: sorry for not updating I was very busy and had no time to update but I'll update today and Sunday as planned I finished one of my fanfics so idk if the update day will change or not probably not but you should be aware!! Anyways to the story...
3rd Person P.O.V.
The last Carol saw her friends before she moved was that day because her parents had moved early. That was a week ago she was starting school today they had arrived a day ago and had spent most of the day there unpacking so Carol had not met any kids near her house she would face the school with no friends already made and everyone knew who she was since there was rumors about her either being a snob or an actress herself none of those being true but they didn't know and now it was time for her to face the day she dreaded the most
Walking up to the front office and a lady there I politely asked "Excuse me I'm a new student may I have my schedule?"
"Sure thing what's your name?" the lady asked
The girl sighed because she didn't want any attention drawn but she had to get her schedule "Carol Fairchild"
"Oh goodness your the girl from California how is it there I wish to but never could afford it" Carol was filled with relief that she wasn't known by the woman because of her parents but because of where she lived
"It's quite hot in the summer and there's a difference in winter but no snow unless you drive to the mountains before I moved to LA I lived in Temecula, my parents and I went to a town called Idywilld (it's an actual town) it was about a hour from my home and there was always so much snow it was fun but we then moved to LA and my parents got so busy with being on set or auditions they never took me anymore so I haven't seen snow in awhile. Is it cold here in the winter?"
"That's sad but you'll see plenty of snow and yes it's very cold I suggest you purchase a heavy snow jacket. Anyways here is your schedule I suggest you find someone to help you with finding your next class but your first period is History and it's just outside this door, have fun"
Carol's P.O.V.
I walked to my first class and went up to the teacher and said "Excuse me I'm a new student may you tell me where I sit?"
She looked up at me then looked down at the seating chart "What's your name?"
"Carol Fairchild"
"Oh your the girl who's parents moved because they got a job on Broadway be careful these kids are really mean compared to California kids"
"I can handle them thank you"
"Yeah now go sit next to Gwen" she pointed at a girl
"Thank you, Mrs..."
"Mrs.S"
"Thank you Mrs.S"
I went to sit down to where Mrs.S pointed but the girl put her feet there "Excuse me but I sit here"
She takes her feet down "oh you must be the new girl"
"Yes I am nice to meet you"
"I wish I could say the same but you will take my spot as most popular"
"I only want to get good grades I don't want any trouble"
"Oh you we won't have any trouble meet me after class ok"
"Sure now may I sit?"
"Go ahead"
———Time Skip————
The lesson is now over and I met Gwen outside like she said when I do I'm rammed into the wall and I see Gwen and her friends
Gwen spoke up "Now I'm gonna get this straight if you become more popular than me you better watch your back, I'm not gonna let you come in and take my popularity"
They then shoved me and I feel to the ground coughing when a boy comes up and helps me up "who are you and why are you helping me I'm just some new girl why would you care?"
"I'm Lucas and I'm helping because I don't like the way Gwen and her goons treat people and yes you might be new but everyone deserves a friend"
"Thank you I hoped to not draw attention but I got the opposite" I laughed
"Yeah it seems you hit your head to hard let's take you to the nurse"
He helped me to the nurse where she calls my parents to take me home but they don't answer I figured as much but she just hands me and ice pack
"Lucas can you take Carol to her 3rd period when the bell rings since you have your backpack and she has hers I'll just excuse your absences"
"Thank you Mrs. Silva" Lucas said
And with that me and Lucas talked until 3rd period we actually have a lot in common and soon became friends, I went home and find my parents are not home so I sign and do homework then make dinner and go to bed that's what happened at my first day in school
