The drive home from our pack territory was silent. I was brooding, I admit. I was completely hurt and utterly pissed at my sister. She was like a completely different person and why? I had no idea. But I'd like to find out.

Me: We need to talk. Meet me at the Woodwork Mall day after tomorrow so we can discuss what's going on. Don't bail on me, you owe me that much.

I set my phone down and didn't bother waiting for a reply, I knew I wouldn't get one. I knew I would go to the mall and I'd get the answers I needed.

We got back to the Stone pack house extremely late, it was past midnight. I could still see half a dozen lights on in various rooms, and had no idea which side of the wing Lucian's room was on.

Jenna offered to show Becca to her room. I removed my shoes and scarf, realizing my mark was showing. Hopefully no one else would be awake in this house this late. In the process my stomach growled so loud it echoed in the stairwell and I decided to grab a late night snack.

The double stainless steel fridge was absolutely loaded! I grabbed a handful of strawberries and devoured them greedily. I could feel that I wasn't alone and decided not to move or let them know I knew they were probably staring at me.

Shit, my mark is exposed. I tried to angle my body away from the presence behind me but it was likely too late.

"Enjoying the view?" I said casually. I bit into a large strawberry and rolled my eyes back at the amazing juicy fruit.

"Um.. Luna! I'm sorry Luna, I uh. I'm so sorry." Stammered a deep voice.

I turned to look at the unfamiliar sound and almost gasped. Before me stood a tall man, as tall as Lucian. He was broad, with auburn hair and green eyes. He immediately shot them to the floor, making sure to avoid eye contact. He was very handsome, in an aesthetic way. Strange, I would have been all over him a week ago. Now, all I could do was look at him admiringly whilst Lucian's face rested in the back of my head. Goddamnit.

"Um. It's okay. I was joking." I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Oh. Uh. Okay." He was nearly at a whisper. He met my eyes and his soft emerald pupils almost gave me a sense of comfort. My instinct immediately wanted to trust him.

"And you are...?" I tried to fight back a laugh. The poor guy, the giant guy, was acting like a scared puppy.

"Hah. Sorry, I'm Chris. I'm also super drunk, and I didn't want the first time meeting my Luna to be right now... Lucian is gonna kill me." He held back a hiccup and I giggled.

"I won't tell him."

"You're already my favorite alpha." He smiled and walked over to the fridge, grabbing a gallon jug full of water.

"I'm Cambria by the way. Just... call me that." I said as he pulled up a bar stool across from me. He took a few large gulps of water, obviously trying to make himself sober up quicker.

"Well, nice to meet you. I'm Chris, I'm our trainer and athletic coordinator, don't mind me trying to sober up but I have a 6 am group and I'd like to be at least at 80 percent when I'm out there."

"You're the pack trainer?" I asked, trying to hide my excitement.

"Yes ma'am."

"Where is your 6 am class?" I asked as he took another gulp of water. He almost choked on it momentarily.

"Um, Luna, it's a HITT class, I don't think-"
