*After The War*
Reyna POV
We won. That's all I can really say is we won. After the war life has been...bland. There's nothing to do anymore but just sit down and do nothing. I know most people are quite happy that this war is over but I'm Roman and a daughter of war. You can't expect me to be happy that I can live my life in peace now can you?
Jason and I have been...close. I mean I guess in all honesty I think he's lost, torn between the Greeks and us Romans. He wastes his time on the Greeks I know it's selfish but we knew him first or at least I thought we did. Ever since he left me to defend his position I've been feeling like a ghost. I haven't been myself anymore. And ever since he came back I feel like I'm the least on his mind. Ugh see this is it without the war going I'm stuck with thinking about Jason and having to face my...feelings. Gods I hate that word. Especially, when I know I'm going to be dealing with it for a while. Yet then aga-
"Hey Reyna want to come with me and get some jelly beans!"exclaims a high certain son of Poseidon. Who decided to interrupt my intellectual thinking. Which is the reason why my reply came so filled with anger or maybe it's because I've been thinking of Jason. Ehh probably the first one.
"You idiot," I began," I don't have time for your stupid idiocy right now. I'm trying to thin-"
"You think!" He cried out." But thats Annabeth's job!"
Please Annabeth forgive me for murdering your idiotic boyfriend. I stood up. Even though most people are taller than me I can be very intimidating if I want to.
Percy could sense that even though he was hyped up on Kool-Aid and other sweets.
"Re- Reyna, I was joking," Percy stammered." You can think to it can be both yours and Annabeth's job!" He gave a weak chuckle at the end.
I rolled my eyes at him and sat back down in my chair at my Praetor house. Then I frowned," How the Pluto did you get in here?"
Again he gave me the nervous laugh that told me he did something really bad." I kinda had the Stolls break me in here. You should really get stronger locks."
My eyes widen in horror. I gave him one look and obviously that was enough because he took off running. I ran right after, thinking he and the Stoll brothers are dead.
Percy's POV
Dam Reyna can run fast. I could also tell you that she hit much harder than I thought she did. After she beat me to a pulp, she ran off to go after the Stolls. I was out for like 48 hours, at least that was what Reyna and Annabeth said. My wounds have healed from the butt kicking I got from Reyna. But I didn't have as bad as the Stolls did with only two broken ribs, a black eye, and an Indian burn. I came out much better than those two did. We all got a butt kicking on the same day and yet while I'm still awake those two are still in the knockout zone.
Anyway I was walking around New Rome,since Annabeth and I were going to leave two days from now, just looking at everything. I heard two people talking.
"Reyna, I'm so sorry that I hurt you"
"Jason, not every time that you say sorry it's never going to change the fact that you left me," hissed Reyna.
"Against my will!"cried out Jason."
"So!"snapped Reyna. " What makes you think that I wasn't worried. That I wasn't hurting inside. I had to do a job that was made for two people. While you were there with Piper!"
" Reyna I-"
"No Jason just listen what you don't understand is that while all the time that you were gone I kept hoping that you will come back to me. That you didn't just left me." Reyna paused."and know that you're back... And I still miss you. Even though you're right here in front of me I miss you. And I think I always will because the Jason I know is gone... and he's never coming back."
Is Jason going to ever fix his past mistakes? Is Reyna's heart going to stay broken forever or is Jason going to fix it? And is Percy ever going to stop being an eavesdropper? Probably not. But stay tune for the next chapter. Which is on May 11, 2014 on Jeyna Baby!!!
