So... if you even got as far as to read this, you are most definitely a fellow Fangirl or Fanboy.

You are my next of kin, kindred spirit and sinful accomplice, in this slightly bizarre obsession with Boys Who Love Boys. 

I'm sure that you have (just like I) thoroughly vacuumed the internet for every single movie or drama to put your dirty paws on.

But sometimes, it gets frustrating. I mean - just imagine all those flicks and shows that you miss out on, just because they somehow manage to sneak past your radar...

I'm a sucker for lists - so of course I compile watch lists and rec lists - and I thought that I might as well share them with other Fujoshi and Fundashi, since I have spent humongous amounts of time gawking over every BL themed movie / drama I can find.

I won't be describing every movie/drama in detail - just name, country of origin and year of release. It would take forever if I'd start blabbering about each and every one - so it's up to you to find further info on the stuff you're interested in. However, I'm more than glad to reply to questions, give recs and give pointers as to where one can find specific movies/dramas.

However, I do plan to add some short reviews on particular movies that I really, really wish had gotten more global recognition and attention.

Since there are so many movies and dramas - and because some people, for some mysterious and uncomprehensible reason, only want to see BL originating in a particular part of the world (I don't get it, why would you want to miss out on good stuff, based solely on ethnicity, language or some other weird reason?) - I'm going to split them up into separate lists - Asian BL and BL from the rest of the world. (Kind of messed up proportions, huh...) plus a list of remaining LGBTQ themes. I like those as well - but there aren't very many.

Note: To make it simple - I will call all the boy/man romance "BL", even though the term feels more than a little bit awkward when describing serious and mature movies. It just gets too messy to juggle a shitload of labels.

I hope these lists can spread the word about many forgotten pearls, as well as provide a bucket list of "have to watch" movies and dramas. Enjoy!

*** The lists will be updated when I have titles to add and I don't feel too lazy to actually do it. They probably won't be complete right away, since I have to scan my lists on MDL and iMDB as to not miss any titles.
