Twenty Nine | Reality

Jensen sits in a taxi making his way home and sighs. He was immediately hit with jetlag and his eyes were slowly closing. That was until he arrived back at his home.

He grabbed his things, paid the driver and made his way into his house.

Once the door closed, he hears murmuring.

"Hello?" Jensen shouts and it goes quiet. His home was dark, until he reached for the light switch.

Pressing it the light turns out and suddenly his mouth opens in surprise.

"Welcome back Jensen!" The room was filled with balloons and people. Everyone cheered.

Jensen had a smile on his face as Jared pulled him into a hug. He frowned.

"I thought you went home big fella!" They patted each other.

"Well, we thought we'd surprise you." Jared pulled Sarah into him as they held Tristan.

"You had some help!" A voice said. "Jensen. It's so good to see you." Candice hugged Jensen and she felt so much better that he was back.

"Ah, it's good to see you too..." Candice and Jensen smiled at each other for a moment, thinking they were the only people in the room.

"Candice!" Paul calls and she smiles.

"Oh, Jensen, this is Paul. We've been working together on The Vampire Diaries." Paul shakes Jensen's hand.

"She doesn't stop talking about you." Jensen notices Candice blushing.

"Come on Jenny!" Jared drapes his arm over Jensen's shoulder. "Let's get some drinks." He drags Jensen to the drinks table and Candice follows.

Once they grab drinks, Candice and Jensen make their way to the kitchen. Unknowingly.

"So, did you have a nice time?" He nodded.

"Yeah. We visited different places and got to slay a few more supernatural monsters." Candice smiled. "H-how have you been?"

"Fine. Just... glad you're back." Jensen sipped his drink and placed his hand onto her shoulder.

"Me too."

At that moment, Jensen and Candice were slightly confused, but happy.

They both felt the same about each other, but neither opened their lips to say so.

And neither knew what each other felt.

They stood there as friends, but each wanted something more...
