It was Christmas. That time of the year where all of our loved ones came together.
Today at least, Jared, Sarah, Jensen and I were spending Christmas together. Sadly, I would miss out of the booze, but Jensen was kind enough to pass on the message that this Christmas, it was non-alcoholic. Just so everyone could suffer with me.
I was cooking, even though my feet ached from the baby growing within me. I loved to cook. Especially turkey.
Smiling, I placed the turkey into the oven. I leaned onto the counter and sighed, suddenly feeling a hand onto my back.
"Hey gorgeous..." Jensen whispered into my ear. I lean my head back and he pecks my lips. "Hows it goin'?" He asks and I turn around, nuzzling my head into his chest.
"It's going great.." I feel a kick and Jensen bounces back. I giggle.
"I'm not going to get used to that." I groan and arch my hands onto my back.
"Come back... I need you..." He grabs my hand and pulls me into the living room, where everyone sat.
"Aaay!" Sarah lifted her glass. "Look who is it!" I smile weakly and cross my arms - they lean onto my bump. "How's it going Candice?"
Jensen wraps one arm around me and I lean onto him, closing my eyes.
"She's tired... my baby is all tired."
"Babies!" I grumble and everyone laughs.
"Alright, babies!" Jensen kisses the top of my head. "God, is it this hard Jared?" Sarah studies Jared's face and he shrugs.
"Good answer..." Sarah kisses him and I see Jensen rolls his eyes.
"I can't wait for this baby..." Jensen whispers and I look up to him, pressing my lips to his briefly. Suddenly, I remember I had forgotten something.
"Wait." I spring from his chest. "I forgot the carrots!"
"It's okay baby, leave them. You've done so much..." I shake my head.
"I want to. Be right back!" I struggle to walk to the kitchen and pause for a second as I open the fridge, sighing.
All of sudden, I feel water trickle down my legs. I slowly look down and gulp. "Jenny!" I yell.
"Yeah!"
"My water broke!" There's silence and Jensen runs into the room, panic on his face.
"WHAT!"
"The baby's coming... now..."
