Chapter 3: Cherry Lips

"I said, let go of his hand right this instant!".

Shen Guang lets a small chuckle of disbelief after Yeming had said the same thing twice. He tightens his grip hard on Yao Wang's already bruised wrist before letting it go abruptly. Seeing his chance to escape, Yao Wang instantly flees from the scene as fast as he can, not wanting to be around his classmates for any longer. Yeming sends a signal to Yoon-Ho for him to follow Yao Wang as he needs to deal with the despicable piece of shit in front of him for the time being. What he has done to Yao Wang is definitely unforgivable. The image of Yao Wang crying has been played repeatedly in his mind.

"Is this your book?", Yeming coldly asks.

"Are you kidding me?", Shen Guan raises his voice at this. "Didn't you read? It's that fucking homo's!". He cannot believe this turn of event. Somehow Yeming is not reacting as he was expected. Why does he seem so angry.

"This is not yours... And it looks like a love confession addressed to me". Yeming is holding up the book now while still keeping his cold gaze towards the insignificant man.

Shen Guang laughs out loud, joined by the other students. Finally he's getting it. "You got that right. It's with your name on it".

Yeming chuckles darkly. "Yes indeed. So why did you read it?". The sudden cold tone gives a shiver running up his spine instantly, foreboding something bad is going to happen.

"It is not your book. It is a confession for me. It's mine. So who gave you the permission to read it?". Kim Bum snickers. Everyone else goes dead silent, thinking of the same thing. Did Shen Guang just got...? It takes a few seconds for it to sink into Shen Guang's mind and his face goes bright red, embarrassed for being talked down by the new incomer. He is barely able to splutter out his reply. "Wat-Watch your attitude! You shits don't know who you're dealing with!". Shen Guang storms forward, approaching Yeming with the intention to hurt him but he is effectively stopped by Kim Bum, whose presence was slightly forgotten until he blocks Shen Guang's path. Yeming smirks as he stalks towards the flustered man. He leans down, until they are face to face, his expression stone cold.

"Since this is the first time we meet, I'll just give you a friendly warning. You have no idea who are you dealing with. Don't ever cross my path again, or you will regret it".

Shen Guang raises a fist, aiming it towards Yeming. "You-!".

The school bell rings, startling Shen Guang and his goons. Instead of continuing with his intention, he turns to leave the classroom. "Saved by the bell. You're lucky".

With his vision blurry from tears, Yao Wang runs to the nearest hideout he can find - the male toilet. He manages to lock himself in the last cubicle before sliding down onto the floor, sobbing into his folded knees. His head is still throbbing from all the harsh comments, Shen Guang's mean words, the new guy's face. How can he go back there and face everyone? His life is forever ruined! Shen Guang just have to make sure that everyone knows he is gay. Why can't everyone just leave me alone? He hugs his legs closer, trying to make himself smaller, and maybe the floor will just swallow him whole, away from this hell.

Though Yao Wang was fast, Yoon-Ho was faster. He was able to track Yao Wang into his hiding place and ushered everyone out of the toilet, leaving the crying boy alone inside while he guards the entrance, preventing anyone else from using the facility. True to his words, soon after,Yeming arrives followed by Kim Bum. Yoon-Ho indicates Yao Wang's whereabout with just a head tilt. With a small thanks, Yeming proceeds to enter, trusting his best friends to guard the entrance to give them some privacy. Yeming walks down towards the last cubicle. He feels his heart breaks when he hears soft sobbings sound coming from the other side of the door. Yeming knocks softly.
