Alexia makes her way down the spiralled staircase. She comes closer and closer to making her big entrance to the ball. She looks at her hands and gasps when she sees sweat running down them. She suddenly realises how nervous she really is. "Come on Alexia." "You can do it" Alexia encourages herself.
She stands just outside the big,daunting wooden doors. She gets into her 'royal' position and the doors slowly open. The music stops. The dancing stops. Everyone stares at Alexia.
Alexia slowly steps forward. Royal music starts playing and she starts creeping forwards. She looks at her father who is standing so straight, and pictures him with a long stick up his bum. She quietly giggles to herself and then realises that she is being watched by more than 100 eyes.
She mirrors her fathers pose and clasps her hands together. She wafts down the spiral staircase, glancing every now and then at her crush, Prince Joshua Wrightingham. He was standing directly at the bottom of the staircase watching Princess Alexia make her beautiful entrance.
Alexia was so close to making a perfect entrance, when she stumbled on her shoe. She tripped down the next step and fell right into Prince Joshua's arms with an "oofff".
Alexia looked up into Josh's bright green eyes. He looked down at her and they held each others gaze. He slowly put her down. Alexia briefly looked down and then glanced back up at Josh. "Thank you" Alexia says politely. "No problem your highness" replies Josh.
Alexia turns bright red. She is saved from an awkward conversation with Josh when her father,King Charles Francis Randolph, starts to announce something. He starts to speak. " I, King Charles Francis Randolph would like to announce that..............
