Princesses Know Archery?

Alexia has some time before she must meet her father for dinner.

Alexia goes back to her room changes into some riding clothes and grabs her bow and some arrows.

She sneaks out to the stables where her horse, Brightlight is waiting. She saddles Brightlight and jumps onto his back. Alexia gallops out the back gate and makes her way into the enchanted forest.

As she gallops closer to the magical clearing she starts to see the targets that she had set up a while ago. She gets her bow ready and grabs an arrow from her back satchel. She pulls the arrow back and lets it slide through her fingers. She hits the target right in the middle. Alexia fist pumps the air. She loses her balance and grabs onto Brightlight's mane which steadies her.

She sees the next target. She grabs an arrow, lines it up with the target and lets go, hitting the targets middle again!

She hits the next few targets and arrives at her secret clearing. She jumps off Brightlight and goes to the magic waterhole. She washes her hands. Alexia cups some water in her hands and splashes on her face.

Alexia stands up and sits on a rock. Brightlight comes over and muzzles her. She giggles and feeds Brightlight a carrot.

Alexia walks over to the big oak tree and pushes her hand inside a crack. She uses magic to make the tree crack bigger and pulls out some targets.

She sets them up with enough space between each one. She stands in the middle on the clearing. Alexia grabs an arrow out of the satchel hanging over her back. She lines the arrow up with the target and draws it back. In a blink of an eye she lets go of the arrow and it hits the bulls eye.

She hits the other targets like it was nothing.

She collects her arrows and looks up at the sun, realising how late it was getting. She packed up her things and jumped on Brightlight's back. Alexia kicks her heels lightly into his sides and he begins to canter smoothly.
