King Francesco irked in the meeting room, shouting and screaming in anger at his followers. The men of the royal court. He was agitated, more livid at the current turn of events. The crown. The crown of Swiok Frary should've gone to him. Rightfully. He is a direct bloodline of the Boddinhams. He is after all King Albert's youngest brother. He didn't bare the news well. Perhaps not at all. How can a woman rule a nation? This is humiliation. She'll bring down the nation to its feet, and all she'll ever worry about is her face and hair. Not that Francesco really cared about Swiok Frary, all he wants is power, knowing Swiok Frary is the most thriving and successful strong country it is, he dared not to go against King Albert. He may be a loving man, but under the circumstance, he won't hesitate. He knows it. He's seen it.
He has in fact tried to go through with his alternative plans, But Albert was able to realize beforehand, what his brother was up against, and kept him at his feet. Despite being his own brother. Being the king of Vasilisa, a powerful country under Swiok Frary, didn't help him much either.
The man was tall, he could've being handsome for his age, if not for his vindictive raucous personality. Had a rigged beard and hair always cut short. Boddinhams, they all share the brooding look and the grim beards.
He has a strained relationship with his wife, it was based on a political allegiance. If there was at least one thing to sympathize of the man, it could be his love for his only son. His child whom he shared with his wife. Perhaps the only pride and joy of his now pathetic life. Guess some could say it is excusable as to why he turned out the way he is now. One devastating day, His son, Charles, merely 3 at the time, was left alone for just 15 minutes in the garden. As the royal nanny and the stable boy has snuck somewhere inside the stables for intimacy. Charles not knowing of the dangers and the surroundings around him, drowned in the lake. His body was found hours later.
Distraught and angered beyond comprehension, he beheaded the nanny and the stable boy. Burned the stables and demolished the pond. He lost faith in god entirely that day. For taking away his angel. For taking away the one true thing that was worth living for. He destroyed all temples he has built, after constant niggling from his grieving wife, the queen, he built one temple again, solely under the name of his lost son Charles.
Ever since then, the man became more detestable and malicious. Lonely and sorrow was all he embraced. The only thing that drove this man forward, was power. And Power is what he seeks. Perhaps with all the riches and power in the world could cover the pain of his little lost child, all of which he could've given him one day.
Power. Power is what he'll get, and a man like him? What has he to lose?
