"I can't believe you're going on a date your first week here," my dad said as he stood in the doorway of my room. "Are you nervous?"

            "A little," I admitted.

He stepped further into my room and informed me, "You know, all you have to do is be yourself. There are no tricks to having a successful first date with a cute girl. However, before you go on that date I need to know that your mother has had the talk with you."

"What talk?" I thought about it for a nanosecond and quickly told him, "Oh, that talk. Yeah, we've had that talk."

"Good. So if anything goes down..."

"Make sure I have a condom. I know."

"Well that and also make sure you're respectful in general. You and Tavian both represent me, and my sons will treat young women with respect."

I kept thinking that he should maybe have that talk with Tavian a few more times. I smiled at him and assured him, "Dad, you have my word that I will be nothing but respectful to Londyn tonight."

"That's my boy." He patted me on the back. "If you run into any trouble, make sure you call me. I hope you have fun."

I waited until he left my room before I allowed myself to even think about Noah again. He was the perfect combination of cute and sexy and every time I saw him it just drove me wild. It was becoming harder and harder to keep him off my mind. I went to bed with him on my mind and I woke up with him on my mind. If it was that bad and I'd only been in Morrison Heights for just six days, I couldn't even imagine how I was going to get through the next couple of months.

With so much going on in my head, I still found it important to keep everyone in the dark about me. Therefore, I made sure I was at Londyn's house on time for our date. The Creedmoor Estates subdivision had a security guard so I had to get clearance before entering. Just like in Bridgewood, the houses were big as hell. Londyn's house wasn't as big as my dad's, but it was just as nice looking. I made sure to park near the stop sign like she'd instructed over the phone hours before. About two minutes after I texted her to let her know I was out there, she hurried out of the side of the house and out to my truck. I opened the passenger side door for her and she climbed in.

            "Let's go," she said quickly.

I started the truck up and pulled off before asking, "Why so quick? We got over forty minutes before the movie begins."

"I told my dad I was going to the movies with Janet."

"Why not just tell him the truth?"

"Because he would've made you come inside and he would've threatened you if you didn't have me back by curfew. If he thinks I'm with Janet, he won't mind if I come in a little after curfew."

"I've probably said this a million times already, but you rich kids are a trip."

She laughed and then said, "You look handsome. I see you and Tay both know how to dress for the right occasions."

"Shoot, I can say the same about you. And your hair looks amazing like that."

She blushed before asking, "You noticed that I changed my hair?"

            "Of course I did."

I could tell by the look on her face and by the way she kept blushing that I'd gotten to her just that easily. If there was one thing I learned from faking it with girls, it was that they loved it when you noticed they'd changed something without them having to tell you what that something was. She was giggling and blushing the whole ride to the movie theater. When we got there, I bought two tickets for some chick flick she wanted to see. Once inside, I bought her a big ass box of popcorn and a large Diet Coke. I don't know why she wanted a Diet Coke given that she had like zero percent body fat.
