Two weeks. That's how long I stayed home. Sick with a broken heart and tears dripping down my cheeks. The four tried to cheer me up and get me to eat something, but how could I eat when I was heartbroken. Tanner could tell something was wrong with my wolf, but could never figure it out.
When Monday came around, I was ready to end it all. The four dragged me out of the bed and forced me to get ready for school.
I sat in Liam's Mustang, looking out at the same old forest. This may be the last time I will ever see it.
We pulled into the school parking lot and stepped out. I looked at all of the students, but one caught my eye. It was my former mate. He was charming another girl with black hair and green eyes. She wore her v-neck dangerously low. I thought my shattered heart couldn't break even more, but I was wrong. A tattoo of a wolf howling at the moon was on the right side of her neck. He had marked someone else. Someone that was not his mate. A small tear streaked down my face.
"Sis? Are you alright?" I tore my gaze to my brother, West. I nodded my head. "I just need to go to the bathroom." I moved away from my brother, to the school's bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror. I looked at my black skinny jeans, my dark violet, cold shoulder shirt, and my galaxy Convers. My silver hair laid in big, bouncy curls. Tears streaked down my face. I opened my backpack and pulled out my father favorite pistol. It was made of pure iron. The bullet was made of pure silver and laced with Ivy, and darkness. My father's mixture. The bullet burned my fingers as I placed it into the slot. I placed the gun up to my head. I swallowed As I looked at the girl in the mirror. She was so afraid of what was coming, but was determined to put an end to her torture. I pulled back the cock, hearing a terrifying click. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I was about to pull the trigger when a cold hand touched mine.
"Place the gun on the sink." I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror. A girl with fiery red hair and icy blue eye looked back at me. Two dark wing shadows were placed promptly behind her back. Dark whisp of shadows glided around her shadows.
I carefully placed the gun on the sink and turned to look at her. "You wings. They're shadows." She smirked. "Nobody can see them, except my sister." The door was opened and in stepped the same girl. Red hair and blue eyes. The only difference was her wings were a blinding white with whisps of white clouds floating around. "Layne! What's wrong with you? Stop disappearing on me."
Layne rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I know I made a promise, but I had to stop this one from killing herself." I looked at both of them. "You two are twins right?"
They nodded. The red head with the white wings came over. "I'm Rayne. Full blood angel and the other is Layne. She's full blood demon."
I looked at Layne. Havana stood in shock. "Oh shit. We didn't even notice a demon in here. Now I feel like a shitty wolf." I shook my head. "Don't beat yourself up, Havana. If your a shitty wolf, then I'm a bitch of a mate."
Havana laughed. "No your not. He just a bastard of a mate. Don't mind him." I sighed and closed my eyes. Havana was right. I should just forget about him. I heard a couple of snickers from the twins. I opened my eyes and looked at them. "What?" Their snickers turned to giggles. "Your wolf has one shitty mouth."
I looked at them in disbelief. "You can hear Havana?" They nodded. "Yea. We can hear pretty much anything. Like our neighbor having fun with one of his whores."
I gagged a the thought. "That must be awful." Layne laughed. "That's not only the worst part. The worst part is that he's 60 and his whores are 20 or lower." I shivered. "Let's not talk about that."
Out in the halls, the bell rang. "Well twins, looks like we'll have to finish this conversation later at lunch." I turned back at the sink and remembered the gun. It seemed like a lifetime ago that I was about to commit suicide. Layne followed my gaze. She reached over and picked up the gun. "I'll take this, just in case." I growled. "You can't. Its my daddy's." She smirked well then. I'll just keep it till tomorrow." I nodded and left with the twins.
