graduation, already?

Geez, a week has already passed, where does the time go? Yeah that's right, it's graduation. All the seniors sit in chairs on the football field and wait for names to be called after the principals 'congratulations ' speech. I look down at my long graduation gown, it feels kind of weird but thats ok, it's not like im stuck in it forever. I can see the tassel on my hat in the corner of my eye, and it's really annoying, it just sways back and forth. I pretty much zone out most of the ceremony until I hear my name and I stand up and walk over to the principal. He smiles at me and hands me my diploma, I smile back at take it then pose for a picture then go back to my seat.
A few people were called up after me but I was zoned out again, I guess I was thinking of going to Germany. Eren didn't have to tell his parents since they died when he was ten. Next thing i know everyone is standing up and throwing their caps in the air cheering and screaming, so I got up with them and threw my cap up too. I celebrate with all my friends and erwin, I stay close to erwin since I won't see him for a few years, but I won't see my other friends for a long time so I should be near them as much as possible too. The first to leave was levi, we said our goodbyes and then he left with his uncle, honestly, I hate his uncle, he's so mean to levi, like really mean. Then it was sasha and connie, who decided to go to a college together in Florida, we exchanged phone numbers then they left.
There were getting to be less and less people around us, then it was just me, erwin and eren. I check the time and realize it's time for me and eren to get going so we don't miss our flight, erwin and I exchange a quick kiss before me and eren rush to his car after dropping off our graduation robes. The only reason why my parents aren't driving me to the airport is because my mom died when I was six and my dad is super busy with his lawyer job. Eren starts the car and starts driving to the airport. I watch as the scenery flies by, my phone buzzes and I look at it.

Erwin: hey, I miss you already

(Y/N): hey, erwin. I miss you too but don't worry, I will call or text you almost everyday but it will probably be later at night

Erwin: that's okay, I'm just glad I'll get to talk to you

(Y/N): aww you're so sweet, maybe during a break I can come home to visit you

Erwin: I could do that too. Oh, and tell Eren that I'm going to miss his big mouth.

I chuckle and look at eren, "erwin says he's going to miss your big mouth." Eren looks at me then turns his attention back to the road and chuckles, "yeah, well tell him I'm going to miss seeing those eyebrows." I laugh and shake my head.

(Y/N): Eren said he's going to miss seeing those eyebrows of yours

Erwin: haha! I have amazing eyebrows, I dont care if he makes fun of them

(Y/N): we're at the airport, I'll text you when we get to Germany. Love you, erwin

Erwin: ok, love you too, (Y/N).

I shut my phone off as we pull into the airport parking lot. We get out of the car and grab our bags, "ready to go to a new country, eren?" He chuckles nervously and locks his car. We walk inside and get our tickets and go through bag check, I hate going through the stupid metal detector thing, it's so annoying.  We finally get through and go to the gate after picking up some snacks for the plane ride. "Eren? Have you ever been to Germany?" Eren looks at me as if it was an obvious answer, " no. But my parents came from Germany, so I know how to speak the language pretty well. Why? Are you nervous? " I rub my arm nervously, I don't look at him, "kind of, it'll be weird going to a place that doesn't speak English. Can you teach me some german, eren? Please?" He chuckles and nods, "sure, I'll teach you the basics."
He starts speaking german then saying the translation, it's hard to learn a different language, even if it is only a few sentences. I'm pretty sure I messed up every word, especially the word 'Ich', (translation: I) I don't know how to say it. Is it like saying ish or ick, I don't understand.

After a few hours of eren speaking perfect german and then me speaking crappy german the plane finally gets here and we're aloud to get on. Me and eren grab our bags and board the plane then find our seats, I get the window seat while eren sits in the middle seat. Now im really scared, we're on the plane to Germany, what will happen when we get there? Who knows, but right now I'm just worrying about getting there. I didn't mention this to eren but I'm terrified of flying on plane's, I'm afraid we're going to crash. Everyone gets on the plane and now, we're off, the plane takes off into the air.

Time skip through the many hours of flying

After many hours of flying over the ocean and land, we finally make it to Germany. I turn my phone back on but I make sure its on airplane mode. The plane starts to slowly get closer to the ground but the closer we got the more the plane started to shake. I look out the window and see the ground is at least fifteen to twenty meters below us but the plane just continues to shake. Suddenly one of the engines bursts into flames and the plane starts to fall nose first to the ground. All I hear is people screaming and crying, some even pray to god to be saved. I look at eren and see his blue green eyes open wide and filled with fear. He grabs my hand and unbuckles my seatbelt, his was already unbuckled.
He pulls me to my feet and he pulls me to an emergency exit and he opens it, still holding my hand. The ground is close enough that if we jump we won't get seriously injured but it would still hurt. He looks back at me as if to ask if I would be okay.
I nod and he looks back outside and he jumps out, pulling me with him. We fall for a few good seconds before we hit the ground and roll a little. I sit up and watch the plane fall to the ground and then finally it crashes, killing and or injuring anyone on the plane. There is a mini explosion but not major then there are just flames and a few survivors running out of the plane. Eren helps me stand up and we run to the storage area on the plane to get nanaba out. (Yes we brought the dog onto the plane) Eren forces the door open and I look around then grab my dogs kennel and run to the building with eren. People rush us inside, we find a place sit and I open the kennel to check on nanaba.
she looks at me, I hug her shaking body, "thank  god you're alright. Eren, thank you for saving us, we would've been dead if you hadn't dragged me out of the plane." He sighs and hugs me and nanaba, " I was terrified, (Y/N). I thought we had died but then I found myself on the ground next to you. " We take a moment to gather ourselves then we stand up and start walking to the taxis. We buy some clothes since ours probably burned in the plane. I get a leash for nanaba so I don't have to carry her, we manage to get a taxi and we head to the college.

After paying the driver, we get out and walk to the dorms and find our assigned room. I walk inside and choose the right side of the room, I set my phone and purse onto the bed. Once eren closes the door I drop nanabas leash so she can roam around the new room. My phone rings and I pick it up without looking at who is calling, "hello?" " (Y/N)!!!!! ARE YOU OK?! THE NEWS SAYS YOUR PLANE CRASHED! ARE YOU INJURED, ARE YOU IN A HOSPITAL!?! " I bring the phone away from my ear and wait for erwin to stop yelling, "I'm fine erwin. Eren pulled me out of the plane before it crashed, We have a few scratches but nothing major." I hear erwin sigh with relief, "oh thank god. I'm so glad you are ok, is nanaba ok? You took her on the plane right?" I look at nanaba running around the dorm room happily and I chuckle, "yeah, she's fine, she's actually running around the room right now so she isn't too traumatized."
Erwin chuckles, " well I just wanted to make sure you were alive and well, text me tomorrow, kay? " I smile and nod even though he can't see me, "alright, will do. I love you, erwin" I can hear the relief in his voice, "I love you too, (Y/N). Have fun in Germany." I hang up and turn off my phone for the rest of the day. Eren sits on his bed, " we should go shopping later since we lost all of our clothes and stuff. " I nod and sit down on my bed, nanaba jumps up next to me and lays down. I look at her and smile, I pet her gently, "I have to buy you some food and other stuff too, don't I?"
She barks as her way of saying "yes".
I sigh and look back at eren, "lets wait for an hour or so to get comfortable and also so we can calm down a little, I'm still shaking." Eren nods and lays down, he closes his eyes and soon starts to snore signaling that he is asleep. I chuckle and set my phone on a side table with my purse then I stand up and close the blinds on the window. I lay back down next to nanaba and cuddle with her, I close my eyes and fall asleep for a little while, more like most of the day.
