Lovely Red (Modern! erwin x reader) COMPLETED

Prom night!

I've decided to just skip through most of the week and go straight to the day of prom. Exciting right?!

It's been a few days since nanaba became part of the family, six to be exact so I guess it's friday, tonight is prom and I can't wait! The best part is, we are going to combine our teams and perform at prom. I change into my knee high blue and white dress with beautiful flower designs. After a few minutes of waiting i hear hanji honk her car horn. I grab my dancing shoes quick then run outside and hop into hanji's car. "Hey, (Y/N)! Ready to go?" I nod and she drives to school.
We arrive at school and hanji lets me out at the door then goes to park the car. I walk I walk inside and look around for erwin,
I wonder where he is.
Then I see him, tall and neat, his hair slicked back nicely. His brilliant blow eyes shining in the light, he sees me and smiles his handsome smile that I learned to love so much. Erwin jogs over to me, wearing a nice black suit with a navy blue tie that matches my dress. He looks down at me, "wow, (Y/N), you look amazing. That dress looks beautiful on you." I feel a blush dust my cheeks, he lifts his arm and i link my arm with his. We walk to the gym and behind a big statue. We wait to walk under the statue, one more couple before us. Finally we walk under the statue and I am surprised to see that we just walked under a small Eiffel tower. We pose for a picture and smile then we walk down the gym, posing for more pictures. I swear my face hurt from smiling so much. After we make it to the other side of the gym we stand next to the other couples and wait for everyone else to walk over. I finally have time to look at all the decorations. The gym walls are decorated with sparkly and lit up streamers, there are beautiful fake stone archway's with lights wrapped around them where you have to pose for pictures. There are also fake stone pathways to guide you with fake rose bushes lining them.
Yes, the gym was decorated like paris, lights everywhere you look, absolutely beautiful. I see hanji panicking behind the curtain and i sneak away from erwin and everyone else and run to hanji. She looks at me, "(Y/N)! I look awful!! Help me please!" I look at her, her hair is dun up in a big bun with pink plastic pearls in it and she wears a pink fluffy dress. Levi walks over and looks at her with wide eyes. He takes her hair out and shakes his hands through it to make it fluffy then ties it in a messy ponytail. He takes off a layer of fluff on the dress then takes the bow off. He thinks for a moment then slips his suit jacket off and puts it on her, it fit even though he's short. Hanji looks at herself then hugs Levi, "thank you, shortcake! I look great now!" Levi and hanji link arms and walk out under the Eiffel tower statue.
I run back to erwin, i guess he didn't realize I left until he saw I was out of breath from running but he doesn't ask any questions.
Levi and hanji are the last couple to walk over, when they walk over a camera man walks over and takes a few pictures of all of us together then everyone in the dance team slip away from everyone and some people clear away the paths and archway's. We all meet up behind the curtain again and get our dance shoes on then get into our positions. The music starts and we walk out to the middle of the gym and spread out.

This is the routine (skip to 1:05), i love this routine i thought it would be a good thing for this chapter.

everyone cheers loudly as we catch our breath then walk back behind the curtain. hanji jumps up and down, "WE DID IT,WE DID IT! I'M SO PROUD OF US!" we gather and go in a group hug. We did it, we made it through high school, just one more uneventful weak left. Then, it's off to Germany with eren. Yep that's right we have the same flight on the same day and since we already know eachother pretty well, we decided to share a dorm too. I hear music playing again and I look at erwin with bright eyes. He doesn't seem to notice my bred gaze on him so I grab his wrist and drag him to the dance floor, once I stop in the middle of everyone slow music starts playing. I smile and place his hands on my waist then I wrap my arms around the back of his neck and we start to slow dance. He smiles at me and leans down and kisses my forehead, I rest my head on his chest and close my eyes and dance with him.
I feel something brush past my cheek so I open my eyes and lift my head. Rose petals are falling around the dancing couples from the balcony bleachers. Someone throws a whole rose down and erwin catches it then looks at me and smiles handsomely, he sticks the rose behind my ear, "there, now you have a beautiful red rose to match your beautiful red eyes." I blush and smile a little and shake my head slightly, " they're not that pretty, at least I don't think so. " He chuckles and grabs my chin with his thumb and pointer finger , "i think they're a lovely red." he closes the gap and plants a kiss on my lips, his eyes closed. I kiss back, closing my eyes too. This is the perfect prom night, absolutely perfect. There's no other word to describe this night and I'm sure erwin and my friends agree.

Time skip (what? Did you think this was the end?)

Erwin drives me to my apartment then walks me inside. Nanaba barks happily and jumps into my arms, luckily I caught her, I didnt want her to hurt herself. I hug nanaba and walk further into the apartment and sit down on the couch, erwin closes the door and sits down next to me, nanaba shoves her way inbetween us then falls asleep there. Erwin chuckles and pets nanaba gently, careful not to wake her, cause lord help us, she gets cranky when she's woken up from her nap. I lean over nanaba and kiss erwin on the cheek the grab the remote and turn the tv on.
We watch a few movies before I fall asleep with erwin and nanaba next to me.
Erwin wraps an arm around my shoulder and rests his head against mine. He watches another movie then carefully gets up and walks to the door. He glances at me then walks out the door and over to his car, he walks to his car and gets in then drives home.
