When he answered the phone I noticed it as my escape. I slowly walked away towards my next class with Sonique.
"Sooo spill is he hot" Leave it up to her to ask that "And is the rumor true are you two together or something. "
"Yes as much as I hate to admit he is hot and we are not together. "
"Awww and I was just thinking you finally got a boyfriend" she said pouting at me.
I just rolled my eyes and muttered a whatever.
This is gonna be a long day.

When he bell rang school had finally finished I was the last to leave because I was taking my god given time to pack my books and missed my bus. So I had to walk. And even worse Eric remembered I had to tutor him. Just great. Note the sarcasm.

Last time I checked I'm not a dog to be ordered around :) bye.
I don't wait for a response I locked my phone and started walking away when I noticed a black SUV parked by a tree with tinted windows next to the school. Something about it creeped me out but being the person I am I paid no mind to it. I also didn't notice the black car that drove out of the school and stopped next to the exit I had to pass by.
I plugged my headphones into my ear and started walking away. And letting the world fade away. I was listening to Sabrina carpenter when gun shots fired in my direction. Adrenaline flooded through me and before I had time to be scared I felt a slight pressure on my arm but I felt no pain. When looked down I saw wound and how much blood I was losing. I started seeing little black dots filling my vision.
I heard distant screeching of tires speeding away and someone picking me up bridal style.
"Damnit why didn't you listen. Don't worry im here and I won't be going anywhere without you. Stay with me. "
And that was the last thing I heard before I let the darkness consume me.
