After coming back from the small talk I had with the Gryffindor's there was an obvious change overnight. When the Golden Trio and I all walked into the Great Hall the next morning it was to find the rest of the school whispering about the Gryffindor's and their obvious movements. Draco could see a lot of different Gryffindors eating at the Hufflepuff table, enough for there be Hufflepuff's over at the Gryffindor's end because they needed a place to sit down.

It appeared that first come first serve was the general rule amongst the table sitting and not based on house. Or at least that's what the Gryffindor's argued, which was met with no real malice. The Hufflepuff's didn't care as long as they ate their breakfast.

"I guess we should head to the Gryffindor's," Hermione said, pointing to some empty spots.

I shook my head, "I'm going to have a chat with Blaise first. I'll join you guys for our first lesson," I said, already pulling away from the others.

I was halfway through to the table of Slytherin's when I felt a hand squeeze my arm and then turned to find Harry giving me a confident smile. "We'll go together," he said, letting go of my arm and walking ahead of me, with a fixed stare at Blaise.

I felt the corner of my mouth start to turn upwards and shook my head fondly. Harry didn't care as much when he plopped himself in the seat opposite Blaise, already pulling out some toast and making himself right at home.

"You okay there?" I teased, ruffling his hair and sitting beside him. "Morning Blaise."

"Malfoy," Blaise greeted, narrowing his eyes at the two of us but eventually returning back to his breakfast.

I poured myself a cup of tea and automatically felt my back straighten and fall into a pureblood etiquette headspace. "Pass the milk, will you?" I asked. A few of the other Slytherins growled at me and I raised an amused brow and cocked my head to the side. "I thought that only lions growled?" I laughed and started to pour milk into my tea, before turning to Blaise.

"What is it, Malfoy?" Blaise asked. He looked down on his food and tried to act like he didn't care, let's try again.

"Father kicked me out." I whispered, he stared up at me with wide eyes, but I shrugged it off. Harry decided to actually include himself in our talk and extended his hand.

"Hi! I'm Harry!" he smiled happily. Blaise looked at me and smirked before he shook Harry's hand... cute.

"What can I do to help?" he asked. Most of the Slytherins heard this and gave Blaise the stink eye. "You mind? Trying to have a conversation here." he drawled. I laughed and shook my head.

"Look." Blaise turned his attention back to me, "for now I need you to do nothing. Your mother is probably going to owl you about it at some point this week. Just expect some uninvited stops from now on, you think I can crash over at yours for the first... two weeks of the summer?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. I gave him a grateful look, maybe I'll have my best friend back.

"So," Harry started. "Do you know who the Heir of Slytherin is?" I rolled my eyes and brought a hand up to hit the boy on the back of his head. "Ow! What?"

"For the last time, it's not the Slytherins!" I exclaimed.

Harry pouted and rubbed the back of his head, but turned back to Blaise. He gave the boy a questioning look as if I wasn't sitting right next to him. I sighed, turning back to Blaise who seemed very amused at all this. Of course the traitor would.

"I was under the impression that you were the Heir of Slytherin?" Blaise smirked.

Harry huffed, "our leads are leading us nowhere..."
