I woke up with a very persistent Ron and Harry shaking me. I groaned, rolling over to bury my face back into my pillow when they both tore my precious duvet from my body. "What in the actual hell do you think you're doing?" I said into my pillow.
"What?" both boys asked.
I lifted my face and blinked back against the moonlight. I was literally taking an afternoon nap, like a normal person- why didn't I ever argue back with the Sorting Hat? The boys even opened my curtains. I then remembered that a silencing charm was set over my bed and quickly lifted it. "What are you doing? This better be an emergency," I got up and started to stretch my body.
"We're going to Hagrid's," Harry said, pulling my legs until I fell out of the bed with a giant thud.
"Uh ouch!" I shouted.
"That's for the other day," he grinned, throwing my robes at me. I groaned and got up. Ron gave me an understanding smile. I held my chest and pointed my index finger back and forth between the two of us. Ron nodded and put a hand on my shoulder, both sending silent messages that read Harry-Potter-the-boy-who-wouldn't-let-others-live.
Harry arched a brow at the two of us but shrugged and pulled the silk fabric over us. I looked back at my bed longingly. I'll miss you, I thought, finally turning my gaze away and blinking harshly. I was still not fully awake but continued to walk along with Harry and Ron.
"Why exactly are we meeting Hagrid?" I asked. Ron started to explain.
"We need answers and Hagrid is the only one who's going to give them,"
"He won't give them to us," I responded, "He'll accidentally blurt them out and then say 'I wasn't supposed to say that'" I corrected. They both grinned under the cloak and we all ran off to Hagrid's Hut.
By the time we managed to slip past the staff members, prefects and other students around the place, it had become nightfall. I started to mutter small spells under my breath much to the annoyance of Harry and Ron. It's not my fault that I wanted to wash my face after having taken a nap. They could live with me applying some cleaning spells on my face.
Once we stood outside of Hagrid's Hut, I said, "I'll knock." And so I did, Hagrid opened the door aiming a crossbow at us, we all visibly stood completely still, frightened. Harry pulled back the cloak and looked back at Hagrid who lowered his weapon.
"What are yer doin 'ere?" Hagrid half shouted as we all stepped inside.
"Well why are you carrying a crossbow, who'd you think was coming?" Ron asked, sitting down on his usual seat. I nodded, eyeing the muggle weapon with both interest and caution. Was that thing on the safety setting, because he really was casually going to shoot us a couple minutes ago. I'd like to know that I was safe, if I was going to start drinking tea at Hagrid's.
"Oh uh... never can be too sure these days right?" He laughed. I gave a fake laugh and sat next to Ron. I levitated the tea set and started to fix myself a cup. I held one of the huge mugs towards Ron who shook his head and then set it down.
More tea for me then.
"Hagrid, we came for some answers," Harry demanded. Before Hagrid could accidentally blurt out the truth like he usually did, someone was knocking on the door. Hagrid shoo-ed Harry over to us, I pulled the cloak over the three of us and we ran to the corner of his hut.
"My tea!" I hissed.
"Shut up!" Ron put his hand over his mouth whilst I visibly shivered. Okay gross, little manky twelve year-old hands. Ew, ew, ew. I think Ron knew that I was starting to really panic because he let go quickly and gave me an apologetic smile.
