"Hmm, looks like Lockhart is starting a duelling club. I'm going, who knows maybe we'll get to see someone hex him," I grinned and high-fived Harry. Hermione rolled her eyes at us, making me clear my throat and look away.
"We can go, then we can find out about the Chamber of Secrets," Harry said.
I furrowed my brows, "orrrrr, we can let the teachers deal with this?"
Ron snorted, "yeah good one. Okay! So the Chamber of Secrets," he clapped his hands together. I rolled my eyes but continued walking with him whilst he tried to think up possible theories. "I think the only person that'll know about the Chamber is..."
"My father?" I asked, arching my brow. Ron gave me a sad smile but nodded. "It's fine, he's not exactly the most Light wizard in the world... I'd actually like to give you a heads up on where the Chamber might be... but I don't actually know." I hummed. All I knew about the Chamber was that Ginny Weasley had managed to almost get herself killed down there and that Harry and Ron were the ones to save her.
There were also talks about the basilisks and well... It was just a rumour that ran around the mill but it didn't hurt to be a little prepared.
"I can try to ask my dad about them? I'll go the manor for Christmas-"
"You can't go back!" Harry blurted, grabbing my arm.
I furrowed my brows, pulling his hand away. "Right well, that's very kind of you but I'm not a child Harry. Nineteen remember? I can handle my father," I then gave them all a stiff look. "Better than any of you at least. I'll just see what I can find and come back with something. It'll be better than just sitting around and hoping for some miracle," I then started to walk a bit quicker to class.
Harry shrugged, "sometimes I forget that you're nineteen," he said.
Hermione nodded, "It's because of the way you look."
Ron frowned, "nah- I can see it. You sometimes act like Bill, I think you'd get on well with Charlie though."
"The Dragon Tamer right?" I grinned wickedly, saddling up to Ron who blushed but nodded. "Brilliant! Give me his contact details, I'd love to have a chat-"
"That's so weird," Ron mumbled, pushing me away.
I burst out laughing, "I'm not interested like that Ronald honestly! I just really like dragons, you know... cause I'm Draco?"
Harry tilted his head, "what?"
"Draco... dragon? Seriously?" I asked, looking at the boy in wonder. "How have you not clued that together?"
Harry blushed, "wha- how was I supposed to know?!"
Hermione simply shook her head, "It's a wonder how you'll pass the exams this year."
I smirked, thinking back to the end of the year, in my Conscious life. Headmaster Dumbledore had rid the exams, so there was no doubt in my mind that he wouldn't do so again. If I was lucky, maybe I could try to fake another petrification during our N.E.W.T.s?
"Anyway," I said as we walked to the library. "I think that I can get some information from Father come this Christmastime. Harry and Ron- I guess you guys can try to research if you're able to." Completely ignoring their glares, I turned to Hermione. "I expect a full report of your findings by the time I come back from Christmas."
She nodded eagerly and we all dropped our bags off at a table. Hermione went to go find a book on the actual subject matter. Ron walked over to a random selection of books and started to pick them at random. I held back a chuckle, watching Harry gravitate towards the Restricted Section.
