Chapter 2 Hippo

Readers POV ~

I had 3 hours till I had to make a move to Stark tower. I sat down at the kitchen table with a plate, I made myself jacket potato with a hand full of salad and chips. I wanted to eat something before I went to Stark tower, so I wouldn't have to eat much and look like a pig, when I eat in front of The Mr stark and any of his friends who might be over. As I finish my plate I regretted eating it. I placed my plate in the dishwasher along with my knife and fork, and made my way upstairs to find something to wear. I took out every wearable item out of my wardrobe and spread them out on my bed. All of my clothes are baggy, and dark in colour to try to hide my flabby belly. I glanced at the time to see I only have 15 minutes left till!

'I'm late'

There is no way in heaven or Hell I'm going to get there in 15 minutes!

In a panic, I grabbed a light gray males XL sweat shirt, and jogging trousers. I make my way to the front door.

"(y/n)? Where are you going? My mother said from the kitchen.

"I'm going to a....... friend's house? "I replied a little unsure how to answer when I'm going to a billionaire's home.

"Be safe. Remember you can stay there as long or as short as you want." My dad added.

"Ok bye love you." I said as I closed the door behind me.

I got in a taxi to stark tower. I paid the nice man, and quickly make my way inside. I nervously looked at the stunning female at the reception deck. Her sea blue eyes match her small tight-fitting uniform, her blond hair was curled to perfection.

"H-hello I'm here to see Mr. Stark? I asked her.

"Oh, you must be (y/n), Mr. Stark has said a lot about you. At the moment, he and Mr. Banner are in the lab" she replied with a smile an angel would be jealous of.

"Can you show me the way, I don't know my way around" I asked looking around the large reception room.

"Of course, Just follow me." she said, walking to the lift. I stepped inside when she pushed the button to the third floor.

The doors open to reveal the third floor, I stepped out.

"The room right ahead is the lab. Oh, by the way my name is Jewel if you need anything just call. Bye" Jewel said  smiling away as the doors of the elevator shut.

'I like her.'

I entered the lab. It was bloody huge . Everywhere I looked there was pristine glass and monitors. Tony was by one of his, many Iron Man suits. There was another man which I guess was Mr. Banner.

I stood there awkwardly twiddling my fingers.

"There you are cupcake. I was wondering when you would show up" Tony said suddenly making me jump with a light unnoticeable blush on my face.

"Yeah sorry I'm late" I replied. Tony had a big smile on his face.

"No problem you're here now. This my little cupcake is Doctor Banner or big green rage monster" Tony replied walking to the larger lab table in the room. I gave a questionable look but let it go.

"You can call me Bruce" he said while we shook hands. He held on my hand very gently. The doors of the elevator open to reveal 5 males in neat black suits walked in their eyes hidden behind black sunglasses.

"Right cupcake, can you go up to the living room while I and Dr Banner talk to them, and we will be up in a minute or 2" Tony said.

I nodded and made my way to the lift. I went up and down about 9 times now trying to find the living room. I looked around the room it was really nice. Hard wood floor a white rug to the right of the room with a small coffee table by the handmade black leather sofa. The view was incredible a gentle breeze was lightly blowing some of my (h/l) (h/c) in my face. I wonder how high I am. I walked to the window to see someone looking in which made my jump and trip over the pure white rug. The stranger climbed in the open window.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you fall over." He said,
He was wearing a head to toe, red, and blue skin tight suit.
There was awkward silence then he suddenly said.

"Sorry I'm looking for Mr stark" he said while holding one of his hands out for me.
"It's fine, he and Mr. Banner are in the lab" I replied. I didn't take his hand I was too afraid of pulling out of socket or harming his hand in any way.

"Names Spider-Man you?

"I'm (y/n) " I said, smiling.

"Well I'm going to find Mr stark. Maybe we can hang out sometime "

"T-that would be cool" No one has ever asked me to hang out with them before. Spider-Man nodded and made his way to the lift. Later on, I looked round the spotless room, there was no speck of dust anywhere. Dr Banner emerged out of the lift and made his way towards me.

"Dinner will be ready soon" He said, his brown eyes were enlarged by his glasses which were just resting on the bride of his nose. A small blush made is way on my face as he pushed his glasses up his nose.

"Oh...um o-ok. S-sounds good."

Yet again the lift opened to revile 3 of the 5 men who were in the lab.

"(Y/n), these men are Mr. Stark's bodyguards they will be here for a while" Dr Banner explains.

I sat on the leather sofa with to 3 bodyguards opposite. All of them started quietly started laughing. They soon started whispering between each other, but I could hear everything they said.

"Why would Mr stark have a hippo in stark tower?

"Well I heard he is doing a grand reopening at a zoo, I think she is the new main attraction"

I looked down at the fat I carry around with me. I hated the way I look there is nothing I can do about it, I tried all the diets.

I looked at Dr Banner my (e/c) eyes went wide in fear. His skin went green along with his eyes. His shirt ripped in to pieces on the floor. I was frozen to the spot on the sofa. The 3 bodyguards pulled out their guns and pointed it at the now over 8-foot doctor. Everything went so fast. The green giant smashed the floor in front of the bodyguards with such force that he must have broke 2 floors below.

Once again the lift doors were open.  Mr. Stark, Spider-Man and Jewel rushed into the room.  Mr. Stark and Spider-Man that dealt with green pissed off Dr Banner. Jewel grabbed my arm and rush me into the lift.  The next two hours we sat drinking cups of tea mainly for me to calm my nerves.

Later on, Bruce calmed down in the lab, while Tony and Spider-Man cleaned and replaced the broken parts of the tower, well there was still a very large hole in the middle of the room. Mr stark gave me a room to stay in whenever I come over which was really nice of him. I contacted my dad to tell him I'm staying over and will be back in the afternoon or later.

Jewel gave me some night stuff, so, I didn't have to sleep in my day stuff. I got comfortable in the soft warm bed and within second I was asleep.

Third person~

Steve and Bucky sleepily walked in the Avenger headquarters or Tony's living room. Their eyes where as large as dish plates. Slap bang in the center of the room, was a large hole where the hulk obviously smashed his way down the floors of Stark tower. Both Steve and Bucky looked over the edge to see the damage. Steve looked amazed at the white rug without a speck of dirt or rubble on it, as Bucky rolled his eyes and walked to his room to get some well needed sleep.
