Chapter 5 ~ Trail

Aaron's POV

I woke up to birds chirping and leaves crunching. I look over and see Aphmau softly snoring while she sleeps.

Cute...

I stand up and get my clothes, I go to the other side of the tent and get changed.

(They have a tent that splits in half so one side is for sleeping and the other for changing or other stuff.)

I walk out and see Lucinda carrying some grocery bags.

"Hey Lucinda, where did you go?" I ask her.

"I went to go take a shower, then when I was finished I saw a small shop and decided to get some food and stuff for everyone." She said holding up the bags.

"Great! What'd ya get?" I said and she placed the bags on the table.

"I got some eggs... Bacon.... Sausage...." She dug through the bag more and name some of the other things she got.

"Alright... Where do we cook the food?"

She looked over and pointed to the grill.

"There. Obviously...."

"Okay... But you got sausage, eggs and bacon, how do we cook those?" I ask and she rolls her eyes.

"Did you forget? I'm a witch!"

"Oh, right..." I say running my hand through my hair and looking back at mine and Aphmau's tent.

I smile and help Lucinda prepare breakfast.

A few minutes later the breakfast is ready and everyone is awake, except for Aphmau.

I go inside the tent and am greeted by the sound of Aphmau's cute snoring.

"Aphmau~ Wake up~" I say softly.

"Mmmmm....." She rolls to face the opposite direction of me.

"Aph...."

"Just.... 5 more minutes... Or hours..."

"Babe... We made breakfast, and if you don't come out now, it'll be cold..." I start rubbing her back.

"Mmm~" She hums and pushes her back more towards my hand.

"Now, now.... We have to eat first..." I say taking my hand away.

"Hmmm...." She groans

"We made bacon..."

As soon as I said that she shot up out of the blankets and off the bed then to her suitcase to grab her clothes.

"I'll be out there in a minute!!" She went to the other side of the tent and zipped it up.

"Okay...." I shrug and go back outside. Everyone was about to eat. "I managed to get her awake!"

"Nice! Now can we eat, Katelyn?!" Travis complains.

"Not until Aphmau is out here! We need to talk about what we're going to do today!" Katelyn says. I nod.
