Chapter 7 ~ Water Park

Aphmau's POV

I walk back to our camping site from the small shop, I thought I would get me and Aaron, and anyone else who wants one, a matching shirt! Because why not? I got everyone's favorite color, except black for Zane (But I know he secretly likes pink) so instead I got him a pink one!

I got back and everyone was still asleep.

What time is it anyways?

I check my phone and it reads: 7:28

Oh

I shrug and put the shirts in the table and walk back in our tent.

When I crawl in I see Aaron awake and texting.

I bet I know who it is....

"Aaron....." I say, crossing my arms.

He looks over to me and sits up.

"Hey.... Where did you go?" He says. I know he's trying to brush off the fact I saw him texting his father about that business.... That's obviously what was going on.

"Aaron I told you don't worry about that stuff anymore.... At least until we leave, then we'll deal with it.." I sit next to him.

"I know, but it's not that simple..."

"Huh? What do you mean?" I ask

"He's always coming up with a fake excuse for me to go back... Like one time he told me his house was burning down and he needed me there quick!" He says scrolling through the texts.

"How do you know if he ways lying?"

"I was texting my sister at the same time... She said everything was fine..."

"Ah....Here... Let me see..." I reach for his phone and he gives it to me. I go to his contacts and block his dad's number. "That should help..." I hand the phone back to him.

"Thanks..." he wraps his arm around me and kisses me on the top of my head.

"Hehe.... Now get dressed! I have something to show you!!"

Me and Aaron sit at the table, admiring our new shirts until we hear everyone starting to get up.

I see Katelyn walking out of her tent with her phone in her hand and rubbing her head.

"Katelyn? Is something wrong?"

"Not really, it's just I forgot to fill out some paper work and everyone at my work is getting angry about it..."

"Oh...." I look at the bag of shirts.

"Well I was thinking we could all go to the pool today? I think it will get our minds off everything!" I suggest.

"Yeah, I guess that would help...." Katelyn said setting her phone down.

"Umm, Aph...?" Aaron turns toward Aphmau with a concerned look.

"It's fine... I'll just stay in the shallow end!" She said, remembering what happened in Love~Love Paradise.

"Alright, I won't complain..."

"Wow! Look at the pool!" Kawaii~Chan squealed.

"Oh wow! The slides are huge!" Travis announces.

There are 3 slides. One is green one is yellow and the other is red. Before you go up on the slide it says on he signs:

Green - Shortest slide and slowest

Yellow - average slide and faster

Red - longer slide and fastest

"I'm going on the red one first!" Garroth says.

"Me too!" Travis says and follows him.

They all run up to the slides except Aaron and Aphmau.

"I'll stay with you in hear little pools, I know you don't want to go on these slides..." Aaron says, watching everyone run up the stairs.

"Y-Your not going with them?" Aphmau asks, she didn't want to admit it but... Aaron's swimsuit was distracting her a bit....

"I don't want you to stay here by yourself."

"I-I'll be fine! Go have fun! I don't want to stop you from doing the thing you want to do..." Aphmau says, pointing at the slides.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive! Go play!" Aphmau says in baby tone.

He just rolls his eyes.

"Alright! Wait here... I'll be down soon..." He runs to catch up with the rest.

Aphmau nods and looks around the pool. It's mostly filled with slides and kid playing areas. She did spot a hot tub or two, and a big regular pool, she was relived.

She looked back at the slides, maybe she could go on the green one with Aaron? Or there are some tube slides here...

She sighs

I can't believe I'm doing this...
