Chapter 8 ~ There's A First Time For Everything...

Aphmau stands there at the bottom of the slide waiting for her friends to come sliding down. She first sees (or rather hear) Travis roaring all the way down.

"WOOOO" He yells as she makes his way down to the splash pool.

Aphmau holds her arms up to her face to block the splash from hitting her in the face.

"So.. How was it?" Aphmau asked, wiping the water that did land on her face, off.

"That was great! I'm gonna do that again!" Travis said as he started to run towards the line again.

"Travis! Wait! Ugh.... No stopping him..." She turned around and saw Katelyn landing in the pool.

'Katelyn! How was it?" Katelyn looks up at her.

"Eh... It could've gone faster..."

"Didn't you go on the red slide? That one said it was the fastest!"

"Yeah, but I would like it to go faster... Uh, anyway, I think Aaron is next going down.. I think he's also on the red.."

"Alright! Thanks Katelyn!" 

A moment later Aaron came splashing in the pool. He stood up and shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. 

Damn, he's hot

"Ugh... Don't think that... I mean I can.. But..." Aphmau thought, and just shook her head.

"Aph?" She hadn't noticed Aaron walking up towards her until he said her name.

"Ah! How long were you there!?" Aphmau jumps.

He smirks, Maybe I can tease her a bit...

"Long enough..." He says in a low tone.

Aphmau felt a knot in her stomach.

"Y-Y-Y-You...." Aphmau tries to defend herself, but his vice keeps playing over and over in her head.

"Hahaha! I'm just kidding! I just got here..."

"Oh! Um..." Aphmau's face goes completely red.

"Hehe... Come on, lets go in a pool or something..." Aaron turns towards the pools but Aphmau stops him.

"Wait! You don't want to go on the slides with everyone else again?" Aphmau points towards the slides.

"I mean.... Maybe a little, but I would rather spend time with you.. And I know you don't like slides so.."

"I'll go down one!" Aphmau blurts out, scaring herself.

"Really?"

"Y-Yeah... Why not..?" Aphmau says, immediately regretting her decision.

"Okay... The pool is shallow at the end so you can stand as soon as you get to the bottom!" Aaron says.

"Okay... I guess that makes me feel a little better..."

"Great! Lets go!"
