Hey, again! Yeah, another theory chapter. I'm not entirely sure how many of these I'll make, but I guess until I run out of theories. Anyhow, on to the theory.
Okay, so actually, this is going to be two-part. One is about Meliodas' Dragon Hilt and the other is about Meliodas' past. But they're both going to be pretty short, so I'm just going to put them together.
So, 1.
How Did Meliodas Get the Dragon's Hilt?
So, when I first heard that Meliodas' sword was a part of the seal that had locked away the Demon Clan, I thought that he had helped seal them away and has been carrying around that hilt for 3,000 years. But then we find out that Meliodas wasn't even there for the end of the Holy War. He was–apparently–DEAD. Sooooooooooooooo................... Yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I bawled like a baby reading that chapter. But was anyone else extremely disappointed and highly annoyed that those two didn't have any part in sealing the Demon Clan? But it is what it is and that's that.Anyway, so that debunked my theory that Meliodas has been guarding it all these years. And also, at no point do we see it with Barbarian Elizabeth or Danafor Liz. Until Meliodas comes out of the darkness-nuked Danafor with Baby Elizabeth. Then he is carrying the Dragon Hilt.
So, that confused me for a while. Really, ever since chapter 224 came out. Then, it hit me. What if he got it from Fraudrin?
Fraudrin was the only Demon to escape the seal (Besides Meliodas, who-again-was D.E.A.D!! at the time of the sealing, and Gowther, who I really don't even count as a Demon, since he's technically a doll and I don't think we've ever seen him use Demon powers. And of course the Albions, but I don't think they were technically alive in the first place.). He might have stolen the Dragon Hilt, but couldn't get to the other parts of the Coffin and had to flee. He brought it with him when he massacred Danafor and probably bragged about it to Meliodas, who would then realize the importance of it and take it after he nuked Danafor and Fraudrin. (Now the only question is where the heck Fraudrin was the three-thousand years between the Holy War and the destruction if Danafor?)
