The maze (Exo)

Task 9

Luhan was in deep sleep when he felt someone touched his face. The first thing he did was jerking open his eyes just to find a pair of eyes just on top of him. It was neither Sehun's nor Chen's.

Luhan screamed as he harshly pushed the person away.

"Hey calm down. It's me." The person spoke while rubbing the places that hurt when Luhan pushed him.

That voice.

Lay.

"Lay ! " Luhan pulled him in a tight hug, almost suffocating Lay in the process.

"Lay?" Chen and Sehun also woke up and was surprised of the new guest.

"Yeah...I missed you all...Have you seen the others?" Lay said.

"I.....kyungsoo, xiumin, chan and baek was gone as far as we knew.." Luhan said as he stared at the ground. Tons of memories flooded back and it hurt his head.

"......That's horrible..." Lay said, his eyes were tearful but no tears came out.

His voice trembled as he spoke .
"I ..I met Kris by the way...but I lost him."

"Seriously when is this going to end?" Chen said, slamming his fist furiously on the cave wall.

"We have to...." Sehun was yet to finish when a tornado hit them without any warning.

It was so strong that Luhan hit the wall with full force, injuring his arms in the way. His head hurt and he couldnt see a thing, much less call out for Sehun.

Luhan kept bumping into the walls and his arms bled so much. He wrapped his head with his hands and squeezed his eyes shut as the tornado made no sign to stop.

It was unbearable that Luhan thought he was going to die on the spot. His eyesight blackened and his head was dizzy.

Next, he passed out again.

Luhan hadn't count the times he had passed out in this maze, but he believed that it would be more than the numbers of his fingers.

He woke up , limped and exhausted. He wondered why he was even alive. Why couldn't he just die and end this torture forever?

And then, there was Sehun. Someone he had to protect. And Kai , Tao, the ones he had failed on. Too much worries kept him alive. He couldn't die in peace.

But Sehun? Chen? Lay?

Luhan sat up hastily and saw a body not far from his. He moved his arms to support him to stand up. But , he felt a jolt of pain in his left arm. He tried to move it, only to feel another unbearable pain. He even saw dried blood all over his body.

Guess he really bled a lot. His bloody left arm was limp and Luhan was forced to use his weaken legs to push himself up.

Luhan nearly stumbled when he stood up and began walking towards the body.

It was Lay. His head was bleeding hard and his eyes were closed. He made no sign of moving .

Luhan touched his face and felt a cold feeling running through his spines.

"No...no.." He felt for Lay's breathing ....and he felt..

None.

"Lay! Stop kidding.....wake up please...." Luhan buried his head into Lay's chest and weeped.

His shoulders trembled and his tears dampened Lay's bloody shirt.

Luhan lifted his head and carassed Lay's face . Lay was sleeping. So peacefully... yet so painfully. His body was so cold.

Luhan just met Lay a few minutes ago and was so relieved to find another member alive. But guess people couldnt predict the tragics that would happen in the next seconds.

One minute ago, Lay was smiling , hugging him.

Another minute then , Lay was here, bleeding , dead.

It was too painful to watch so many members disappear one by one. He couldn't blame anyone.

Luhan remained silence for a few seconds, wiping his tears .

His gaze swept through the whole corridor.

Nobody.

He lost them again. He failed them again. The only person he could blame was himself.

Sehun. Chen.

Luhan had cried all his tears out. Even if he wanted so much to scream and cry, nothing came out. He was tired of this.

Sehun. His heart broke. He kept telling himself that sehun was just somewhere else, maybe with Chen. They had to make it alive. They are strong.

Stay strong guys. Please, for me.
Luhan prayed silently.

He placed his hand in his pocket and felt the cold metal of the blade. He gripped it hard and breathed heavily.

Here I am again. Alone. With an arm broken. Come on, Im not scared anymore. There is nothing left to be scared of.

Luhan thought as his gaze turned sharper than before.
