"You know, you should really go on more dates, George." Peggy said, leaning against the kitchen counter with a bag of chips in hand.

"I don't go on any dates." George responded, looking over some paperwork at the kitchen table.

"Exactly," Peggy said "you can't spend your whole life mourning your divorce."

"I'm not 'mourning my divorce', Peggy, I just don't need a date mate at the moment." George argued.

"So? I'm not going to be around forever, George, I'm like twice your age." Peggy insisted "Katie could use a more normal parental situation than her never-around-Dad and her nanny."

"I'm around tons of the time!" George exclaimed.

"All I'm saying is that you need to get out there, and get over your ex-wife. I know she's moved on." Peggy said.

"You only know because you stalk her Instagram. And just because I'm not dating anyone doesn't mean I haven't moved on."

"You haven't moved on, though."

"Yes I have. You need to stop making assumptions about my life."

Peggy sighed dramatically. She held up one finger. "One date." She said "And I will leave you alone about this."

George rolled his eyes. "You couldn't possibly be annoying enough to get me to go on a date."

Peggy smiled and shrugged. She turned on her heel and walked out of the room, a sign that the game was on.
