Last night of finals and I've got an adorable little boy asleep under a blanket. Rowdy Chance Tyler is now fifty four hours old. Eight hours ago we left the hospital. You try to top that. Cody sat down rather quickly next to me. "What's the rush?" I asked quietly. "Flint wants us to go out into the arena with our baby boy." He said. "Nah." Rowdy squirmed and started fussing. "He's getting hungry. I'm going to go back to the hotel with him even if Flint wants to introduce him." I said.

"I'll go out and let him know when he calls us out there." He said. We kissed before he gave me the truck keys. I walked out with our boy and got into the truck that was parked close. I started it while getting Rowdy to nurse. He finally latched on and suckled. I let him nurse before burping him and sticking him in his car seat, buckling him in.

I then buckled and drove to the hotel. I parked and got him out of his seat carrying him up to the room. I rocked him before putting him in the mobile bassinet we had to purchase. He slept soundly as I changed his diaper. Once he was out cold I slipped the do not disturb on the door and got a quick shower before laying down in bed.

I had finally went to sleep when the door closed partially quietly. Rowdy started to fuss. "I got him baby." Cody said quickly and quietly. I watched as he picked him up and calmed him quickly before setting him back down and turning around. He walked over and kissed me before getting some clothes and getting a shower of his own.

He joined me in the bed pulling me to him. He kissed me once more his arms both wrapped tightly around me. "I love how much you care about him. I love coming up to you when your holding him. I love it when your feeding him." He said between kisses. "So does that mean you love the body he made me have?" I asked. "Every inch of it. Every. Single. Inch." He said kissing me between words.

Three weeks later

"You know. Your family never really met me did they?" I asked as he tried to change our son's diaper. "Not really. Just when we got home. I had to tell them no to coming by for a few days so we could spend time with our boy." He said. "So he'd get attached to us more than them?" I asked. "So we could rest and have time together too." He said buttoning the onesie and pulling on a pair of cloth pants with footies.

Rowdy squirmed kicking his legs. "Hold still ya little toot." Cody said trying to pick him up. "He's getting fussy because he doesn't want you right now." I said taking Rowdy from him. "Mama's boy." Cody muttered. "I know you were one." I said. "Yeah. Yeah. He'll be his dad's son soon enough." He said. I chuckled as Rowdy tried to root.

"More like hunger." I said sitting in the chair. Cody kissed me. "I get his diaper bag ready." He said. I let Rowdy nurse before burping him. "Make sure to pack extra diapers." I told Cody. "And two extra sets of clothes just in case." He added. "Don't forget the light blanket." I said. "And he'll be wrapped in a thicker blanket on the way to the truck." "Unless you put it in the garage last night." I said. "Right and I did. Don't forget the sling." He said.

"Don't need it until Christmas." I said. "You ready?" He asked. I smelled something bad. "Did you pack double the diapers?" I asked. "Yeah. A dozen diapers." He said. "Wanna change another diaper or do you wanna go warm up the truck?" I asked. "I'll warm up the truck. It's your turn hon." He said before walking out of the nursery room.

I quickly changed Rowdy and got him redressed for the umpteenth time today. As I walked out I put my coat on over him and carried him to his car seat. I got into the backseat to buckle him up. Then buckled myself. "Everyone buckled?" Cody asked. "Yes." I said. The car ride over put Rowdy to sleep.

Once at his parents house I didn't even try to unbuckle him. "He's out cold." I told Cody. "I'll let them know. Just bring him in, in his car seat." He whispered. I got out and went around after put the tie blanket I made over the carrier. I unlatched the carrier from the base and lifted him out. I closed the door and walked up behind Cody.

He stopped me before popping in the house. He then had me come in quickly. His family had all eyes on me and the carrier I had in my arms. "Come on." He eased me into the house away from the door. Two older women whispered among themselves. A woman that looked about twenty to thirty years older than me approached. "It's so nice to finally meet you." She said as Cody eased the carrier off my arm.

"Is this the baby boy?" She asked. Of course they would care more about him than me. "Mama. Where are your manners? I thought you raised me better than that." Cody said. "Oh. Sorry. I'm Angelina." She said. "Lacey." I said. "Aren't you Tandy's daughter?" A man asked. "Yes sir." I answered. He quickly stood and wrapped me in a bone crushing hug.

My breasts hurt still. He finally released me. I'd rather have Rowdy in my arms than this man hugging me at the moment. "Come on dad. She's gotta be able to breathe to help take care of our son." Cody said. The man released me. "Welcome sweetheart. Tell Tandy I said hi." I then realized who he was. He was the first one to welcome my dad to the MC when he first started!
