Eddy ran over to her, she was unconscious. He called 911.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"My girlfriend collapsed" Stuttered Eddy.

"Is she breathing?"

"Yes, but she's unconscious!"

"Is her heart beat normal?"

"What's your address?"

"110A, Sky street!"

"There's an ambulance on the way to your house."

Eddy hanged up and tried to wake her.  "Amanda! Wake up!" he said repeatedly. He heard a knock on the door, it was the paramedics. He opened it fast. He ran to her. She was waking up, she just blacked out.

"What the fuck is going on?" Asked Amanda weakly.

"Miss, I want you to come with us!" Said one paramedic.

"Why?!" Asked Amanda anxious.

"You collapsed. It's not normal to collapse out of the blue!" Replied the paramedic.

"No, I know. But I am alright" Said Amanda.

"Miss, you are not alright!"

"Fine!" Said Amanda and took her jacket.

They walked out the door, Eddy too. "Amanda it is alright if I come too right?" Asked Eddy.

"Yeah..." Replied Amanda.

They checked her pulse, blood pressure, hydration level and blood sugar. They were all too low. Her pulse skipped a beat, now and again.

When they arrived to the hospital, Eddy took her hand and they walked inside. A doctor greeted them inside.

"Good morning, I am Dr. Johnson. This way." He said and started walking. They got to his office and sat down. "So... I see your nails and hair is brittle and that your blood pressure is extremely low. You're dehydrated. Your body temperature is low. Is your menstruation normal?"

"Uh... No, not really... Last time I got my period was 8 months ago..."

"That's not so good!" Said Dr. Johnson and wrote something down. "Can you take your clothes and shoes off. You can stay on your underwear. I need you to step on the scale."

"Fine!" Responded Amanda anxious, she took off her clothes one by one. You could see her spine, her ribs and her collarbones were nearly out of her body. She stepped on the scale, that dreaded scale. 41.4kg.

"Forty-one kilograms!" The doctor said. "That's not so good..."

Eddy looked at Amanda worried. You could see in his eyes that he was shocked, he was speechless.

"I know it's low Eddy... I know I can die, but I can't stop... I just can't..." Mumbled Amanda with tears in her eyes, as her voice was breaking.

"Amanda, I want you to go the psych-ward. For four weeks to begin with! I am afraid you have anorexia nervosa. I am no psychiatrist but, I think it's pretty clear." Said Johnson.

"Do my parents need to sign anything?" Asked Amanda as tears started streaming down her face.

"Yeah, they do..." Responded the doctor.

"I'm afraid that cannot happen..." Said Amanda. "I honestly have no idea where they are. They are crazy, alcoholics and drug addicts, great parents!"

"Okay... I am not allowed to do this but, I am going to sign you in there anyway!" Said Dr. Johnson.

"Okay... What can I have with me?" Asked Amanda in a weak voice.

"Take what you need and they'll go over the things at the ward."

"Okay," said Amanda, "am I coming today?"

"Yeah, I am afraid so!" Responded the doctor.

"Okay, can we go home and get the things now?" Asked Amanda quietly.

"Of course." Said Johnson as he walked to the door and opened it.

They walked out the door, Eddy took her hand and dragged her close to his body. She looked at him, then she put her face to his chest.

"Amanda, you're going to be fine..." Eddy whispered quietly to her.

"I never wanted this to happen!" Said Amanda sobbing.

"I know baby, I know..." Said Eddy as a tear started to go down his cheek.

"No, Eddy... You don't understand... I fuck up everything. Everything I do is wrong! I am fat and ugly and I don't know what to do anymore!" Mumbled Amanda as she tried to wipe all the wet, black eyeliner under her eyes.

"No! Amanda you are beautiful, you are my favourite person in the world! I love you, and you don't fuck up everything! If there is someone who does that then that's me!" Said. Eddy.

"NO!" Amanda sobbed on his chest. "No..."

"Amanda... Why didn't you talk to me before..?" Asked Eddy hurt.

"I don't want you to see me in that horrible way that I see myself..."

Eddy took tighter around her and kissed on the forehead. "Come on, let's get your stuff." Said Eddy and let go of her but took her hand again.

Amanda didn't say anything. She just walked with him outside.

"Oh, fuck! We don't have a fucking car. Great!" Grunted Amanda.

"I am going to call Emily to come pick us up!" Said Eddy and called her. After a little while she came. They got in the car, Amanda in the front seat and Eddy in the back. They were all unusually quiet.

"Amanda, How long will you stay there?" Asked Emily, quietly. Like she was ashamed of asking.

"For four weeks to begin with..." Replied Amanda. "I really don't want to go!"

"I know..." Responded Emily.

Amanda eyes filled up with tears again. "God I am such a weak bitch!" She said as her voice was breaking.

"Girl, you are not!" Said Emily. "This is a hard place to be in, but we'll help you through it!"

"I know you'll be there..." Responded Amanda. They had arrived at her house, Eddy got out of the car with Amanda and walked inside with her.

"I love you!" Whispered Eddy in her ear.

Amanda smiled. "I love you too Eddy!" She said, "I don't want to go there Eddy...."

"I know, but please try to get better! I want you to get better! So does Emily and Felix and a lot of other people! We care so much for you!" Responded Eddy.

"I don't want to be labeled as the freak, as the sick girl. As the crazy girl!" Said Amanda as her voice was breaking.

"I'll kick those people in the ass! As I said before, fuck society! You won't be labeled as anything of that! Let's just think about your health, for now! But i'll make sure people won't talk anything about this at school!"

"Promise?" Asked Amanda and looked him in the eyes.

"I promise!" Said Eddy, as he stroke her cheek.
