Evelin's Confession

Alyss' PoV

I rolled my eyes when the front door was  locked. Maybe that would work for Muggles but not me. I quickly opened it and stormed in.

"EVELIN PEYSER, YOU BETTER EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW!" I yelled.

I gripped my wand tightly and glared as a shy head poked around the corner.

"Hi, Alyss."

"Yeah, that doesn't work after YOU VANISH AND DON'T EVEN TELL US YOU'RE ALIVE!"

"I don't want to be a witch, not after that. I haven't cast a single spell since he died. I won't. I don't want to have anything to do with that world anymore."

"That's a problem isn't it? I'm sure your SON IS A WIZARD! THALIA FOUND NIGEL!" I yelled.

"Found her, Teddy." Tom hissed. "And, Merlin, it's Evelin."

"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? ABANDON NIGEL?" I yelled.

"He knows I don't want to be a witch. Wait, how do you know about Nigel?"

"I could ask the same about Thalia."

"You're famous, I get the Prophet."

"Thalia goes to WADA too. YOU WERE PURPOSEFULLY AVOIDING US! YOU DON'T CARE!"

"I knew you were fine. I read the paper. You and Tom got married and had Thalia, Mike and Ebony. Teddy and Victoire had Ben and Julliette."

"So you knew we were fine, okay. BUT HOW WERE WE BLOODY SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? DO YOU THINK WE DIDN'T WORRY? YOU VANISHED THE DAY BEFORE HARRY WAS FINISHED GETTING ALL THE INFORMATION! SONJA TRISTON'S STILL FREE! AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW SHE DIDN'T HAVE YOU! I'M NOT PSYCHIC, EVELIN!"

"ALYSS!" Tom yelled, taking pity on Evelin, which she totally didn't deserve.

"What?"

"I think you've yelled at her enough. She's fine, that's what matters. I think she's feeling guilty enough."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?! I hate you sooooo much, Evelin." I said and broke down in tears and Tom held me. Evelin looked panic-stricken as if that was the moment it turned real for her. The last time she saw me like this was after Matt died.

"Oh, Merlin, Alyss. I'm sorry."

"You should have th-thought of t-t-that before you VANISHED!"

"Just do something before she starts screaming again," said Teddy.

"Teddy Remus Lupin, you are a git." I hissed.

"Evelin, please don't hide anymore. We can hide you, my house is empty exept Victoire and I."

"Same with us." Tom said nodding to me.

"Okay, I'll stay here but, I swear to Merlin I'll visit everyday... with Nigel durring the holidays. I swear, Alyss."

"And am I allowed to not believe you in the slightest?" I said sucking in a quick breath.

"Yes, you are."

"Then you're staying with one of us for at least a week."

"You're not backing down?" Evelin asked though it was obvious she didn't think it was going to work.

"Most definitely not."
