Sherlock paced back and forth in front of Molly for almost the 100th time that morning. Out of all the problems in the world, this was the one he couldn't solve. Why was he so in love with John Watson? Molly's eyes often diverted from her studies to glance at Sherlock.

"You alright there? You haven't spoke all morning!" Molly spoke in a quiet voice.

"I'm in the middle of a crisis!" Sherlock's face was emotionless. Molly sighed. She knew she wouldn't be able to get a proper answer while he was like this. Sherlock continued pacing and Molly continued studying. Sherlock clasped his hands together, still pacing. Suddenly, he stopped. Molly's eyes once again diverted from her work.

"What do you know about love, Molly?" Sherlock darted over to the table she was working on. Molly's jaw dropped and her cheeks were flushed with red.

"Quite a bit..." Molly tried to contain her enormous grin.

"Oh, Fantastic! What do you know?" Sherlock sighed in relief, and locked eyes with Molly. Molly bit her bottom lip and her smile could no longer be contained. She started to sweat and it eventually got harder for her to keep eye contact. This was too much. This was the time she could tell Sherlock about her love for him.

"I know that no matter what, you should tell them how you feel..." Molly muttered, taking hold of Sherlock's hands. Sherlock stared at her. His eyes were filled with confusion. There was a slight moment of awkwardness until Molly let go of Sherlock's hands. Molly stuffed her own hands in her science coat pockets and glared down at her feet.

"You don't mean me do you?"

"No..."

~Time Skip~

Sherlock was back at 221B Baker street and was waiting for the arrival of his flatmate, John Watson. He was expected back at 6:30pm. It was now 6:35pm. Time passed and it was 6:40pm when John walked through the door. Sherlock leaped from the sofa and placed his hands on John's shoulders. John scanned Sherlock, surprised at the gesture. Sherlock took a deep breath in and a long breath out. He knew that what was coming next could be the start of something new or the end of a beautiful friendship.

"John... You know I am no good at having feelings never mind expressing them. So I am going to make this short and to the point. When I first met you, I thought that you would be just like any other person I have ever known. I thought you would mock me, hate me and call me a freak. But ever since you started complimenting me for what others thought was annoying, I have felt some sort of love towards you..." Sherlock explained, heart racing and palms sweating.

John laughed and all Sherlock could do was blush. Sherlock gave John a confused look.

"For someone who's meant to be smart, that was neither short or to the point," John continued to giggle.

"John! Did you just listen to anything I just-" Sherlock was interrupted.

But Sherlock couldn't believe what interrupted him. John had a tight grip on his coat and had pulled him in close. Their lips had been pushed together and Sherlock could feel a weird sensation flow through his body.

The two men just stood there embracing the moment. The romantic moment suddenly ended when they heard the door creak open. Sherlock's eyes darted open. John was no longer kissing him but he was still holding on to his coat. Mrs Hudson had walked through the door.

"Ooh! I hope I didn't interrupt you two!" She could hardly contain her laughter.
