I heard clapping behind me and I dropped my brush and jumped. I turned around and couldn't believe what I saw.
It was Black Veil Brides! Or most of Black Veil Brides anyways. Andy, CC and Ashley were standing in the doorway to my small room, but Jinxx and Jake were nowhere to be seen. Ashley was the one clapping, while Andy and CC started at me, in what I hope was disbelief.
The clapping ceased and the room was silent for a moment, until Mrs. Dutch broke the silence.
"Rayne, these young men are here to adopt you..." Was all I heard before I ran up to them and bear hugged them.
"Whoa!!" CC said suprised while Andy and Ashley only laughed.
TIME SKIP TO LEAVING (CAUSE PAPERWORK IS BORING)
We walked out into the hot and sticky California summer air. I dropped my bag in awe of the car that sat waiting for us. I didn't realize how long I stood there until CC ran by with my bass case. He really must have been as energetic and crazy as they say, because he was still in my room when we walked out the front door.
"Thank you." I said shyly as Andy picked up my bag and put it in the trunk of his Black Cadillac Eldorado convertable. (i looked up what kind of car he owns.... i know it may sound creepy, but i wanted this story to be as accurate as i could possibly make it)
"No problem." Andy said with a smile.
I am guessing Ashley had just gotten off the phone because he walked over phone still in hand and said something to Andy to which he nodded in reply.
ASHLEY POV
"We need to make sure she is as comfortable as possible or they will take her away."
"On it. Jinxx and I will give her the biggest of the two empty rooms." Jake replied.
"Alright. We'll try to stop somewhere along the way home to give you as much time as possible."
"Ok. Thanks." Jake replied before he hung up.
I walked over to Andy and told him the plan.
RAYNE POV
CC hopped into the backseat without using the door causing Andy to make quite the fuss. Ashley held the passenger door open for me with a smile, and I smiled back and crawled into the backseat next to CC.
Ashley hopped in and closed the door, then put on his sun glasses that were resting on the top of his head. After he put them on he checked his hair in the rearview mirror and must have seen me looking at him because he turned around and said,
"What you looking at squirt?" That earned a laugh from CC and a chuckle from Andy.
I just laughed and replied " A grown man that cares more about his hair than I care about my own." This caused CC to roar with laughter and say,
"I like her. We are totally keeping her, right Andy?"
"That was kinda the plan CC."
The car got awkwardly quiet. I shifted nervously, not sure if I should say something.
"So..... are you hungry?" Ashley asked.
"Yeah, a little bit." I replied.
"So what do you want to eat?" Andy asked as the car passed an IHop.
"IHOOOP!!" CC yelled, causing me to jump, but Andy and Ashley must have been used to sudden outbursts because they didn't even flinch.
"How about IHop?" I replied. CC hugged me and squealed like a little boy.
This should be fun.
