noun; 1)prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. 2)the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Racism; Probably one of the most Controversial subjects i could've started out with. This particular subject has been on my mind for awhile now, and i have a particular story that will explain why; Basically I used to practically live on social media (Instagram Especially). I loved the controversial pages as a whole, I enjoyed the majority of the pages. Even the "Not My President pages", I loved to argue because i had nothing better to do. Hey, at least I am self aware of who i used to be. There was one page that really struck my curiosity, and pushed all my buttons. The account was inspired by the show "Dear White People". I was scrolling through the comments and what i've learnt was, when it comes to the internet, not many people have filters. This African- American Female in particular stated "It is impossible to be racist to a white person, its just called being biased and prejudice". Which made me annoyed and still does.

-prej·u·dice/ noun 1)preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.

It is so important to know the meanings behind your words. Yes it is possible to be racist to Caucasian race, we are all made equally and ignorant people seem to forget that. Unfairly giving your opinion to someone based on the fact that they're Caucasian IS racist. This is why world peace is impossible. Being racist to Caucasians and leaving them with no place to defend themselves or else its "racist" is hypocritical . And I am aware that people will just assume that i'm Caucasian based on my opinion but why is it unacceptable for a minority to have this opinion; but a mandatory for Caucasians to believe this about a minority or else they're considered racist, some people are blind to the fact that they are favoring other races because society makes it so unacceptable to be treated equally. People are even favoring racism to only apply to minorities, giving it the power it has held all these decades, things will never change if people continue to think they way they are. Imagine how Controversial a show "Dear Black People" would be, "Dear White People" is honestly a racist show .Hypocrisy isn't the way to equality.
