Twelve - Introductions

I woke up early today. I woke up at 5:30am, two hours before I am supposed to be at SM entertainment. Jungkook came into my room at 6:30. Jungkook: "Mijung! Wake-" I was singing and dancing to EXO 'The Eve' with headphones on, so I didn't hear him come in. When I finished, just before it went onto the next song, Jungkook took my headphones and my phone. Jungkook: "Anything but that song next time, and you're already ready?" Mijung: "Yeah?" Jungkook: "Do you want to leave early?" Mijung: "If it means I can have ice-cream for breakfast, then, yeah!" Jungkook: "You're going to get fat." Mijung: "I don't care."

We got to SM 10 minutes before I was supposed to be there. The receptionist told me to go straight to the room. Me and Jungkook said good bye and parted our different ways. I walked up the stairs.

I reached the room I was told to come to and knocked on the door. Someone I've never seen before, but looked quite a bit older than me, opened it. ???: "Manager hyung? There's a girl here." The manager (I'm guessing): "Let her in." He let me in.

When I walked into the room, I saw the guy that opened the door and 7 other guys, and I think one of them is their manager. The manager (I'm guessing  again): "Why don't you guys introduce yourselves?" ???: "Annyeong, I'm Kim Chaesong. I'm vocalist, sub-dancer and the oldest here. I'm a '94 liner." ???: "Kon'nichiwa, I'm Kubo Toshiro, my stage name is K.T. I'm sub-vocalist, sub-dancer and visual. I'm a '94 liner too. I'm also Japanese." ???: "Annyeong, I'm Park Hanseol. I'm also visual and lead-vocalist." I'm a '95 liner." ???: "Annyeong, I'm Jack, my real name is too hard to say. I'm vocalist and sub-dancer. I'm a '96 liner. I'm Thai and I'm Chittaphon a.k.a Ten's twin brother." ???: "Annyeong, I'm Lee Jinchan. I'm sub-vocalist and dancer. I'm a '97 liner." ???: "Annyeong, I'm Lee Chanjin. I'm sub-vocalist and dancer. I'm a '97 liner and Jinchan's twin brother." ???: "Nihao, I'm Xiao Si Wong and my stage name is Jaewon. I'm vocalist, sub-rapper and dancer. I'm a 98 liner. I'm Chinese and I don't speak Korean fluently." He said all of that in Chinese. Chaesong: "What the hell is he saying? No-one understands." Mijung: "I did. He said his name is Xiao Si Wong and his stage name is Jaewon, he's a vocalist, sub-rapper and dancer, he's a '98 liner and that he is Chinese and doesn't speak Korean fluently." Everyone went silent. The manager gave ma a piece of paper and told me to read it out-loud and if Jaewon didn't understand, I had to translate into Mandarin. Mijung: "Annyeong, I'm Jeon Mijung, my stage name is Jam Jam. I'm main rapper, main vocalist, main dancer, visual and leader. I'm an '03 liner, the maknae, only girl and Jungkook's little sister." Because Jaewon didn't understand I translated it so he could understand. Then our manager introduced himself to me. Manager: "I'm Lee Sooman and I'll be your manager. I'm leaving now, so if you don't mind, try and get along and boys don't hurt Mijung, she's only 13. And you can leave when you want. Be back tomorrow at the same time because you'll be moving into your dorm." He left.

I went over to Jaewon and started speaking in Chinese. Chaesong came up to me. Chaesong: "Hi, Mijung, I would like to say thanks for taking my job." Mijung: "What are you talking about?" Chaesong: "You took my role of being main vocalist and leader." Mijung: "Sorry, I didn't mean to, I just got given a piece of paper to introduce myself with, I didn't know you used to be the main vocalist and leader." Chaesong: "And I got given a new piece of paper. You better be careful because we're going to be sharing a dorm soon and we're all adults where as you're just a kid. I'm leaving now." He left and all the boys were left staring at me. I felt uncomfortable so I asked if they could stop staring and they did. Mijung: "Seen as we're going to be in the same group, can I have your guys numbers?" Boys: "Sure."
