Once I got upstairs, I grabbed my uniform and a towel and ran into to bathroom. I put the shower on and got undressed. I had a lot of things to think about. Why did Kacchan pretend he didn't know who I was? Why did he run away like that? Does he...still feel that way? I closed my eyes and got lost in thought.

"Kacchan!" A little girl yelled.

"What is it?" A small, ash-blonde boy turned around to face her.

"I want you to promise me something!" She asked, keeping her hands behind her back.

"What?"

"I want you to promise that you'll always keep this ring I won! Keep it and never forget me, okay?"

A slight blush ran over the boy's face, "Alright fine." He pouted, holding his hand out.

The girl pressed the ring into his palm and smiled, "One more thing!"

"What now?"

"Promise to always love me!" She smiled, holding a matching ring. He nodded.

"Hey! Hurry up in there!" Shiro yelled, pulling me out of a distant memory. I smiled and finished my shower. I got dressed and everything else as fast as possible. I instantly ran into my room and searched for the ring. After about ten minutes of looking, I finally found it! I grabbed a chain from one of my old necklaces and shoved both in my pocket. I looked up at the clock and I had plenty of time left.

"Shiro, I'm walking to school today! See you later!" I yell, running out the door.

"Wait! Let me come with you.." He said, trailing off. I was already out the door before he finished.

"Good, I made it." I sighed, reaching my seat right before the bell rang. I reached into my pocket to find the chain but not the ring. Oh no! Where did it go? I looked around frantically, starting to panic. Tears started to form in my eyes when I heard my name. It was Todoroki.

"Did you drop this?" He asked, holding up a bluish-red ring. I sighed in relief, wiping my tears.

"Yes!" I jumped up, hugging him. "Thank you so much, I'm so happy right now I could kiss you! Thank you so much!" I smiled taking the ring from him. He fluffed his bangs with his left hand again. Was it something I said?

"You're welcome." He said, going to his seat.

"What the hell was that?" Kacchan asked me, I turned around, showing him the ring.

"I thought I lost this," I said. A blush started to form on his face. Good, he remembers.

"Why the hell would you be so worried about a dumb ring like that?" He asked looking away.

"Well," I paused. "Kacchan." I paused again. "This 'dumb ring' is very important. An old friend of mine should have one just like it. Assuming that he didn't lose it and forget about me already."

"He probably forgot about you already. And he probably threw his version of that piece of trash away a long time ago."

"Well, that was harsh." I pouted.

Mr. Aizawa came in right after I turned around and class began. Why does he keep acting like he doesn't remember me?

It was time for lunch break. I walked over to Todoroki and asked him if we could have lunch together, he agreed. We walked over to the cafeteria and bought our food. I told him that I needed to tell him something, and asked if we could go eat on the roof. He agreed, but I couldn't lose the feeling that I was being watched.

Once we got to the roof, Todoroki asked what I needed to tell him.

"Well, first off, I want to apologize for the way Shiro acted when he first saw you. I'm not his, like he said or anything. He probably just thought you were interested in me or something. Which isn't likely but his imagination tends to run wild. He's just, overprotective."
"So, who exactly is Shiro?"

"Akiyama to you, and he's basically my big brother. He and I have been together for a really long time. He's basically like, a human escape route."

"I see." He said, looking up at the sky, "How is he a human escape route?"

"Well, I got into a lot of trouble as a kid and he's saved me countless times. His quirk is teleportation so he's gotten me out of a bunch of sticky situations."

"So, you are Akiyama have similar quirks?" Shit.

"Y-yeah!" I panicked.

He looked at me in a way that said 'what are you hiding? Tell me.'

"Look, I can't get into it. I'm not allowed. I don't want you to get hurt." I stood up, crumbling the tin foil my lunch came in. "It would be best if you didn't know. Just, let it be."

"How would I get hurt by you telling me something? Why are you lying to everyone about your quirk?"
"Please stop. I don't want any of you to get hurt by the truth, okay? The trouble I've been in in the past were villain attacks. I lie so I can survive, and have the people around me live, okay? So please, drop it."

He nodded and left the roof. I turned to look out to the school grounds. It was a nice, safe view.

"[F/N], what are you hiding from us?"

ahh, I totally forgot to update! It's been ten days, and I meant to update this story at least once a week! I'll give you two chapters today, to make it up to you!! I also figured out how to use italics on wattpad, so I'm going to use italics for thought and stuff- i might fix the previous chapters but I havent decided yet,, so, see you later!^^
